Mackenzie POV
Morning finally came and Mackenzie was waiting for Christian’s alarm to go off. Her stomach was in knots.
He usually did early morning training sessions with his unit. Mackenzie had asked if she could join them a few days ago, but Christian had just looked at her, then turned around to his unit, and they all burst out laughing.
Christian then proceeded to tell Mackenzie that a Luna shouldn’t be out fighting on the battlefield but instead, should be hiding in the packhouse with the other woman and children. They didn’t have female warriors in their pack.
She should have known he was an evil prick then. Goddess, she wanted to kill him. But she was highly outnumbered and her number one priority right now was Madison.
