Madison POV
A large brown wolf slid towards her, trying to cut her off, but Madison jumped over the wolf, quickly regaining her composure.
In the distance, she could see a patrolling wolf. She must be close to the other pack! Only a few feet to go! The wolves following her were snarling and snapping their jaws, sensing they were going to lose her.
Madison’s wolf jumped the last 2 meters, jumping over the patrolling wolf while shifting back to human form.
“Sanctuary!” Mackenzie yelled. “I seek sanctuary!”
Suddenly, wolves came running from all directions, defending their border against the oncoming enemy wolves. They stood at the pack line, snarling, daring Christian’s pack to cross.
