Tryanna

In Estert, the capital of Dererters, a man stood in front of a man who was looking outside the window of his mage tower that stretched all the way to the clouds. He was at the very top of it and next to them was a crystal ball that was grey and had a small tornado in it twisting around. The gray color was formed by wind moving around the crystal. "Master, I have been in the room for a while now. The wind particles that are drawn here and concentrated by your Collection Crystal are not good for me as I am not of the Wind Element." The man said as he started to feel lightheaded. It was Axal, the same person who was in Senjira when they held the meeting with Victicus and saw him kill a Fourth Tier Mage with a single attack. He looked like a ninja as his outfit screamed as such, but he was carrying no weapon with him. He himself, being a Beast Warrior was inspired by such a display and show off strength and came out from that meeting even more determined to gain strength at par with that of Victicus. After that meeting, he had gone to see Victicus as per his invitation and he had given him many pointers on how to better himself as a Beast Warrior, pointing things out about his cultivation that his master could not, as his master was a mage, though a powerful one. He held him to the highest respect and had said while kneeling to him that a Beast Warrior has no master, something his master knew about him when he took him in to train him, seeing how talented he was and knew that he called him his master out of respect and because he was strong. "Awe, I guess I am getting too old. It had slipped my mind while I was admiring the view." The old man, who was tall and dignified said as he turned around and looked at him. His hair was black and he looked skinny with a goatee and grey eyes that seemed gentle. He was wearing a long grey robe and had his hands by his back as he walked over the crystal. "Some mages would tell you that this crystal is the reason why they build their towers and lock themselves away for such a long time. It collects and concentrates the mana particles of a single element that a mage is compatible with and then sends it to the entire tower. Not only making the tower the prime location for them to cultivate but also makes them incredibly strong, as some would say you cannot beat a mage while they are inside their tower and you can't knock it down as they can defend it indefinitely." The man said as he took the spherical grey crystal that was as big as a basketball and lifted it up as he talked. Axal just listened with respect. "Awe, look at this old man rumbling on." He said as he put the crystal down. "While many wind mages would want to stay here as long as they could, as being in any part of the tower would shorten their cultivation period, any stage they are in, I see why it would weaken you, or kill you over time." The man said, as Axal knew his cruel side and just hoped they would move on to why he was there and not torture him by making him stay there. "I see why a Beast Warrior would not appreciate such a thing." He said as he put his hand over Axal's shoulder. "But, it also allows us to do this." The man said, as in a blink of an eye they were outside of the tower, at the bottom of it, by its entrance door. Axal was not surprised, as he knew that mages could do almost impossible things with their towers. The tower loomed over a large village that grew a crop that was just like rice, infect it was rice and the people looking like those of Asian descent, including his master. It was a mountainous area that reached as far as the eye could see. The buildings also looked like those of past Asia. "It's been more than a year now and I hear that Victicus has still not yet come back from his hunt." The man said. "Yes, master. I fear that war might come sooner rather than later. Those capable and not held back by their country or guild will all go for the secret of his guild and family." Axal replied with concern. "Fools." His master said. "Even if he has not shown himself for more than a year and he has gone into that hellish of a forest, they must be fools if they attack his guild without taking him still being alive into consideration." His master spoke like he knew that Victicus would not die in such a forest, even though he was hunting something so powerful. "There is still his genius of a daughter to look out for, one that I would not want to go up against now that she has reached my circle of power. Not forgetting that walking volcano of a man, then the Berserker, who, if left to go on a rampage, can become as strong as the next stage of her circle of power and that witch, the one who acts like she is only a cook. They are the envy of every guild, as even their lower ranks are freaks that would give you a fight, Axal. There was a report that one of them survived an attack from the Mage Killer, summoning a blizzard in the middle of a desert. That scum who calls himself a Beast Warrior, running away after that volcano of a man showed up. " The man said as he looked over the people mending the fields. "Forget about Senjira. Whoever is greedy enough to bite the beast's tail will die unless they take at least two Fifth Circle with them and if Victicus manages to catch his prey and close his leak, they will need three. He is one of a kind. One no country or whatever circle of power you are can take lightly." The man said. "Master, what if he does not show up and there is a secret that the Starbilis family had been guarding? What will happen to the person who uncovers or possesses it?" Axal asked out of curiosity. "Then that person will be the someone to contend with. If they are Fifth Circle, there is no doubt that those who do not move and have not for ages will take note, those who have transcendent above us and know the secret of Uros." The man said, making Axal worry. "Well, each country is talking about some individuals that are upcoming prodigies who all seem to be of the same age and we have one of them in my tower. Axal, she might catch up to you in record time." The man said. "Rivalry between disciples is inevitable. Seeing how talented she is, it only serves to inspire me to new heights that I shall break through with my own fists." Axal said, making his master smile. "I did not know that a nine-year-old would light a fire in my only other disciple. I might be one of the luckiest masters in Uros. He said. 'That is when you are not torturing us.' Axal thought. "Well, with each and every country seemingly having a child prodigy in their hands and each seemingly of age, it might spell the start of something talked about in legends." His master said. "But enough about such talk." He said, trying to bring the conversation back to what they were there to talk about. "There seems to be something even I cannot understand in one of the towns in Derema, the trading city not far from the seaport. There are reports of people being sucked of their blood for the past year, but the reports have stopped for some reason." The man said. "A new kind of beast? Or, Dark Witches?" Axal asked. "With the reports, I cannot make sense of it as it is a first. If it was a beast, some would have seen it by now, and if it was the work of Dark Witches, they would not be leaving their victims on the street like that for over a year without changing their strategy. I was thinking of going there and taking care of it myself, but with talks of war, I need to be close to my tower in case the kingdom needs me and the others. We are still ruled by the Serperslbum royal family, after all, as does Zerxebel" The man said. "I shall take care of it, master. Axal said as he bowed a little. "Take Tryanna with you. This will be a good learning experience for her. She has just received her Base core and has successfully made her core and can already use mana." He said, making Axal surprised. "It has only been three months since her ninth year in Uros. She can use her core that much already in such little time after forming her core?" He asked in disbelief. "As I said, she might catch up to you in a blink of an eye." His master said with a smile. "Look after her. Though she talks and thinks like an adult, she is still young. I think that her Blessing will be useful in your journey. If you find something that you cannot handle, you must retreat immediately as her safety should come fast." Axal nodded. He had no choice in the matter but was eager to spend time with his fellow disciple and see what she was capable of. His master disappeared and as he waited for Tryanna, he thought about how his master only took him in and trained him because he was a Beast Warrior. His fascination with them knew no bounds and he sometimes thought that he had wanted to be one but was forced to being a Mage. That was when the tower doors opened and out came a girl that looked to be nine years old. She had a real smile on her lips but she did not know what danger waited for her and Axal where they were going.
