Chapter 7

The present

I was just following my wife while we were walking together inside the mall when a woman bumped into her, she frowned when the woman looked at us without speaking but just looking, but the woman's aura raised fur, I wish we could just turn our backs on the woman because she thinks of us even with the royal guards behind us.

I held her hand when I noticed that she was going to call the woman when she passed her and didn't seem to care about the bumped person. I faced in front of me then I was stunned because the person standing in front of me did not notice what I was looking at.

Am I seeing right now or am I just imagining the woman standing in front of me now that I've been wanting to see again for a long time?

"Why did you hit me?!" she said to the woman she bumped into, but the woman she spoke to was speechless as if she didn't care.

I spoke to my wife immediately so that she would look at me and not at the woman she bumped into. I didn't want to hope that the person I had been looking for a long time was now in front of me.

"Are you alright?!" I just mentioned holding my wife's arm.

I did not expect what I would hear from the woman's voice and the name she mentioned. Wasn't what I saw just a hallucination? If it's not her and her name is the same but, it's not because her eyes captured my heart that I saw her again because I know...it's her.

"She's fine, you should have asked me, ate Odelia!" the woman answered my wife flatly, and the woman I've been wanting to see for a long time is walking towards us, she's not just hallucinating, there's just something different about her that I can't explain.

When Odelia approached us I feel uncomfortable of her, because she was not like this when we last said goodbye to each other. When it was her birthday that was the last time we met, she hasn't contacted me since. I was even worried about her, I asked our school council members if she would return to America even though they noticed that I treated her special. I was shocked to know that she will not return to America from her friends and that she will study there in the Philippines.

This is the last news I heard from her, what did I do to her when we were in a relationship and she didn't contact me like I lost interest in her life when she didn't contact me since then.

At that time, I became sad and had anxiety, depression.

She said, she loves me? Why did she cut off her contact with me?

We have been married for 16 years but we don't have children, she wants to have a child with me. I don't want to have a child with her even though our friends are telling us, and our relatives are not getting any younger.

The royal guards approached us, I noticed something in her eyes and body, I looked around to see if there were any suspicious people.

"Princess, who did that to you? Shall we arrest her?" when the royal guards approached us, I noticed that she and the woman my wife bumped into wanted to laugh because of their eyes.

"There are many people who are looking at us, don't make this!" I whispered to my wife.

"Yes," my wife shouted at them, I noticed that the face of the woman who bumped into my wife changed when the royal guards approached her, she was not afraid and just looked at them.

Odelia didn't move as if she was waiting for the royal guards to approach her, I noticed that she looked away when I looked at her.

I would have stopped the royal guards but I stopped myself from doing so.

"That's all that happened to you, you intend to arrest me with your bees? Even if you are the princess of the whole world I don't care!" the woman said to us seriously, the tone of her voice suddenly changed and she seemed to have an aura that I couldn't explain.

I turned to Odelia, she was quiet and didn't even seem to take a step in front of us. Who is the woman with her and she doesn't seem to stop her.

I don't know the woman, but she called Odelia "sister" are they sisters maybe, she had a new family so she never came back to America?

"Ysa! Let's go, you've done your shopping and the emperor is looking for you." I called my wife's attention when I was about to pull her.

"No, I haven't finished yet, why are you going home because of your ex!" Ysa said to me, I just glared at her as I secretly avoided Odelia.

"Arrest them, they have no respect!" screamed my wife, and she called the royal guards to arrest the woman and Odelia.

When Odelia was about to turn her back so as not to join the fight when someone approached her, I was about to stop them when I was shocked, she immediately dodged and I was surprised by what my wife and I saw because, she kicked one of the royal guards so hard that she fell to the third boutique, she still felt her foot because of the surprise she did and I was stunned by what she did to the royal guards who came to her.

For the first time I saw the expression on her face and the strange and evil aura of her personality, she was no longer the Odelia I knew.

"Catch them they must not escape!" my wife shouted as she approached the two and I held her hand.

There were many people watching us, the manager of the mall and security guards had also arrived. My wife frowned when those who approached us were surprised.

"Queen Ysa—" exclaimed the manager and when he turned to Odelia he bowed and to the woman my wife bumped into.

Does he know the two, the woman looked around and Odelia was quiet.

They let the royal guards catch them and their eyes narrowed at my wife as the royal guards held them. I would like to talk to Odelia. When we left, the manager would have stopped us when my wife cursed them.

They sat in front of us and next to them were two royal guards with bloody faces.

"Are you still human? You know how to fight." one of the royal guards noticed, they were just quiet.

How do you know how to fight and your face looks fearless even though there is blood on her hands and feet. Since you left America you have changed a lot Odelia, what happened to you?

I couldn't help but look at them and they were talking in another language.

"Face me now, is it still her, you don't want us to have children? You are married to me!" my wife whispered to me.

I know the language they speak is mandarin because we talked to important people in the palace and in the businesses.

What is the relationship between the two of them? Siblings or relatives, what? I just noticed that they look alike if you look closely.

"Tyler, what are you looking at them?" my wife called attention to me causing them to look at us.

"In the small world we will meet and we will meet again I will not bother you because you are not the reason why I came back." Odelia exclaimed, I saw her grin at us and the person next to her laughed at us.

What happened to you, Odelia, and you seem to be unknown?!

Maybe, I didn't know you completely when we had a relationship because you were younger than me now that 16 years have passed, you have really matured.

Our relationship with her family was not yet legal and she did not know about my identity before. I don't want her to think of me differently when she found out who am I, other than the macho dancer I was when we met.

"You won't be in the world for long if you or your husband are my cousin's target." the person next to Odelia she laughed loudly in front of us, causing the royal guard to scare her with a punch, but she blocked his fist.

She removed the handcuffs from her hand? Everyone was surprised and she took out her other handcuffed hand and waved it.

Odelia didn't say anything to the person next to her, and she just watched the person next to her whom she scolded. How did the hand come off the handcuffs?

Ysa insulted the royal guards but she just let the two go without handcuffs, the royal guard was surprised that Odelia was also without handcuffs. They wonder how it happened that they did not noticed that the person next to them was removing the handcuffs.

"What! You have no respect for the person in front of you! You don't know who I am, and who is in front of you now!" my wife shouted at them, I just shook my head.

"I don't care who you are, you know that? Because, you don't even know us, and who is the person you're yelling at." the person next to Odelia just shouted and there was something strange in her eyes and Odelia cursed in front of us and spoke in another language.

"Stop it, will you? Maybe, blood will spread in front of you and you will suddenly be scared." Odelia shouted at us, I couldn't stop my wife from what Odelia said.

Because I thought about what she said that blood would be shed in front of us, what did she mean?!

"I am the princess of Nedkram! We are known all over the world, you and your cousin will be imprisoned!" my wife shouted and Odelia cursed along with the shouting, her voice sounded like a rumble because its tone had changed.

She is like a queen if she can speak in front of us.

"Stop it! It's irritating! You, I don't need you now, we were shocked when my cousin bumped into you, and since I've been away from America for so long, why should I bother you? If you're smart, you know the answer." Odelia shouted as the person next to her leaned back and calmed down, the royal guards were surprised by the change in the tone of Odelia's voice which I heard for the second time.

She leaned back in the chair when she noticed the person next to her calmed down.

I want to scold Ysa for what she says.

"You interrupted our shopping and where did you have us in your palace? In a smelly prison." the woman said teasingly to my wife.

"You're another one, Aisha, shut up, will you? We're not here for this kind of event, because you're too clumsy!" Odelia said to the woman who seemed to have lost her temper.

Because the car was tinted, we could hardly see what we were going through. The car stopped and the royal guards who were with us followed behind us. They were just tied so they couldn't escape earlier. They removed the rope from their hands and pulled them into the wide area.

The royal guards met us and greeted us at the entrance of the palace. The rule of law is modern so what they used to do is different. They were just quietly looking around when I noticed what they did.

"This kind of gesture is boring, ate Odelia, everywhere we go they approached to us." I heard the person next to Odelia mention that the gesture of those who bowed to us is no different from the two of them?

I observed them, there is something different in their stance because they are not ordinary people?

We were taken to a wide hallway inside the palace with many people standing on both sides. The old man looked at us after our companion whispered. The people there greeted me and my wife.

They were looking at our two companions whom they did not know.

My wife has reported to her father the emperor about what happened at the mall. Ysa had no shame, the two visitors from London that I had met the day before were still there.

"Ate Odelia—I mean Odelia, Aisha? Why are you here in the palace?" Princess Michelle asked them, she signaled them both to stand up.

Ysa stopped speaking and complaining when we heard what princess Michelle mentioned to our two companions, Odelia, and it turned out that Aisha was the name of the person Ysa bumped into who didn't say the name of the person who was asked earlier. Do they know each other, no nervousness on their faces?

I saw the surprise of the people who looked at us and were with us.
