Riley's POV
Shortly after our conversation, Theo leaves. He promised he would be back soon, but in the meantime, I could study a bit about Cameron Bain's profile.
“These are some of his tapes," Ella observes, while handing me a list of movies and one or another series in which the actor has participated. “If you need anything else, don't hesitate to let me know, I'll be glad to help."
“Thank you," I murmur.
Her departure leaves me alone in the middle of the room. Theo has put the entire apartment at my disposal, so I am free to move around as I please. Although comfortable, I prefer to be outside my room. When the door closes a suffocating feeling comes over me, as if I were caged.
