I'm not heartless. I found pleasure in tormenting Anna. That part is true. But there were times when I felt guilty about doing certain things to her.
The kiss was one of those things, which was why I decided to leave her alone for a while. Temporarily.
I was hanging out with Jayce when Mrs. Garcia came and invited me to Anna's birthday dinner. I was surprised.
"Are you sure? Anna doesn't like me," I chuckled.
"Don't be silly. Of course, she likes you. She spent all morning making those chocolate chip muffins for you," Mrs. Garcia laughed.
Okay, surprise number two! I thought she bought them and pretended to make them so she could trick me into thinking she liked me. And damn, those were delicious.
