Maddox's POV
"I know it doesn't make any sense. But somehow, that is what's been happening" Ian tells me as we both sit in my office, facing each other with only a desk in between us.
"How can a person just disappear like that, Ian? He is hiding brilliantly but we need something or someone that he deeply cares for. We need to bring him out of his rat hole!" I say and he gives me a knowing look.
I don't say anything as I silently nod. Well, everyone knows that the only person Nathan has ever cared for is Zelda. And that Zelda let him down every single time. Because she didn't love him but me.
I still believe that we love each other. But it's just the blood in us that's boiling now. She is on behalf of witches and me on behalf of werewolves.. the situations are a handful.
