Zelda's POV
I wake up to a click sound and see that I dozed off during Maddox's call. I took a glance at the phone records to see he hung the call up just a minute ago. Was he listening to me sleep all the whole while?
I turn the other way and close my eyes again but this time, I cannot sleep. I must have dozed off because of the tiredness earlier but now this unfamiliar place is slowly getting to me.
After a few more minutes, I eventually gave up . I sit on my bed and grab my coat. I pull that over my pajamas and walk outside of my room.
The other half part of this palace is in ruins, like I said. I take a quick glance from above to the living room to see a few people sleeping on the floor. They told me they are the live in servants. I did not know I needed to have them.
