Sitting here with my mate while she sleeps is the closest thing to peace I have had all night. My dad is healing, but is still in bad shape. The burns on his back were pretty bad, but according to my mom, the burns are better than the alternative. Meaning, it's better to have him burned than for him to be dead.
Phoenix said that Dakota was doing a good job of helping his healing. He said that dad would be lucky to come out with just some scars around his shoulders.
Samantha, on the other hand, would be fine. The burn on her arm was almost healed already, but she had taken in a lot of smoke. For some reason, Phoenix, grandma and Alette were worried about that for her, but no one would tell me why.
