I had just sat down to read when someone started to pound on our door. It scared me at first, and I almost linked my dad to come check who it was, but instead, I got up and answered the door myself.
When I saw through the window that it was a young girl that I had never seen before, I assumed it was Samantha looking for Sterling. However, when I noticed how scared she looked, I wasn't sure.
