Well, that was worse than I thought it would be, but not as bad as what Grace went through. I was thankful that we didn't get stuck mid-shift. I think having Sammi there with me helped a lot.
Once I shifted, everything within me changed. I felt more powerful than I had ever felt before. My eyesight became clearer, and I could see much further distances than in my human form.
My muscles felt tighter and stronger, and my hearing was beyond heightened. My sense of smell was extremely sensitive, and it's what helped me smell out the danger that was quickly approaching.
