She was wearing a white nightgown and it was the only thing connected to the murderer.
One by one they took each of the family members’ fingerprints.
“The results will be out in one day.” Mathew muttered.
He and his officers left our mansion, yet they left us in a complex situation.
We all were tense, even though most of us had nothing to do with her disappearance.
“Was it you?” Gabriel suspected Jennifer.
“No, of course not.” She denied.
“Well, you had the motive since her arrival put your position in jeopardy.” Ruby pressured her for the truth.
“I am innocent.” Jennifer raised her voice.
“The results will be out soon, so why not just wait for it, instead of accusing each other?” My words stood up for Jennifer.
