Talia's pov
I was moving forward with our revenge, but sleeping with Keith wasn't in my plan.
He swayed me off my game and now he was the one with the upper hand.
We started sleeping together and it was just our little secret, even Madam Josie didn't know.
But everything ruined with her arrival.
Beth witnessed Keith coming out of my room in the middle of the night.
As soon as he left, she approached me with a sly smile.
“You're Talia, right?”
“Uh…Yes!”
*Chuckles
“So you're sleeping with that guard?” Her blunt mouth questioned me.
“Why does it matter to you?” My timid voice questioned her.
“As far as I know…the maids are not allowed to date anyone in this mansion, yet you're committing adultery.”
“Does Josie know?” She came closer and whispered.
“Don't tell madam, Please!”
