Ruby's pov
“A new Luna?” My voice slightly raised.
Grandma smiled for three seconds and again went back to her stiff face.
“Many women are facing problems in our clan and they can't always go to Gabriel for those problems.”
“In situations like this, they want a woman to understand them.”
“That's how important a Luna is for our clan, Ruby.”
My feet took steps closer to her and I held her palm with tenderness.
“But that position is mine!”
“You were given that position, but you messed up everything.” That old hag had already set her mind against me.
She removed my grip from her palms and glared straight into my eyes.
“Gabriel is going to get married again and since you're his first wife, you can choose his second wife for him.”
“This is unfair!” Tears rolled down my eyes.
