Larisa's pov
A strong sun ray touching the ceiling pulled me out of my sleep.
"Ezra!" I murmured but he was already gone.
Last night's event was still fresh in my mind and the fear crawled over my heart that someone was trying to kill me instead of that poor maid.
After taking a fresh shower, I walked out of the room in search of Ezra, yet he was nowhere to be found.
"Have you seen Ezra?" I asked Laura.
She smiled and replied, "he was on the way to the lake."
"Thank you, Laura!" My lips expressed her gratitude and my feet ran over to the lake.
Excitement was rushing through my veins as he spoke to me after ignoring me for a whole week, it was satisfactory for my soul.
