Chapter 10 - One step forward

Serah's pov
Storm was standing too close to me and the moment his lips moved toward my lips, I panicked.
"STOP!" I groaned.
A devilish smirk flashed on his lips and he took a few steps back.
"You say you're strong but you look very weak to my touch!" Words came out of his mouth taunting me.
"I am not in the mood to argue with you, take me to my punishment spot!" I commanded in panic and a teasing look of happiness flashed on his face yet he followed my command without making the air any more uncomfortable.
On the other hand…
Raquel's pov
It's been a few days since Larisa left with Ezra but still, there is no news about her!
"Mother, what's wrong?" Enya asked out of curiosity as my face was saying it all.
"I am worried that Larisa is still alive!" A flustered look flashed on Enya's face and I could see her feet trembling.
Enya has been living with insecurities of her own and this is all because of Larisa!
Larisa is not only beautiful but also strong like her dead father who was once our Alpha. I have become greedy for power yet I don't find myself wrong because I find everything right when it comes to my daughter.
"I want you to do something, Enya!" She furrowed her brows with curiosity.
"Go to Larisa and see how she is living there!" I muttered.
"What if she is alive?" Enya showed concern in her words.
"Then you must tell her something, and what I am about to tell you is wicked enough to control Larisa until she is dead!" My words flickered Enya's eyes, and she left the room.
Back to the Bloodmoon clan…
Ezra's pov
"What do you mean by wedding ceremony?" I asked furrowing my brows.
"Alpha, you must do the ceremony, or else your relationship with Larisa will always be incomplete and she might not feel the pain you want to cause her!" Nikolai muttered, fixing his gaze on the floor.
"I can't believe I have to go through this all, I hate her and I hate every second of being with her yet I am bound to my revenge!" My frustrated self revealed all my emotions in front of Nikolai.
Nikolai walked over to me and gently rested his hand on my shoulder, giving me comfort and strength.
"We must do this, Alpha!" He said.
I took a deep breath and pulled myself back to my senses.
"Prepare everything for our wedding ceremony!" I commanded and Nikolai vanished in the blink of an eye.
After Nikolai left, I immersed myself completely in other works but got interrupted in the middle by Storm's presence!
"I heard you're getting married, congratulations!" He said with a wide smile on his lips.
"Are you here to tease me?" I asked, rolling my eyes.
"Of course not, I am genuinely happy for you!" He muttered with excitement.
Storm must be thinking that my stone heart is melting but he is unaware of my real evil intentions. Larisa is responsible for my brother's death and to give her the taste of her own medicine, I was willing to cross any limit!
Her scars were the only thing that was bothering me for the past few days but is it enough for me to change my perception of her?
Doesn't matter if her body is covered in scars, she is my enemy and I must focus on that rather than her past. From the moment I found out that she is my fated mate, my bitter feelings for her started to tremble as if I was happy to be united with my mate like others.
I must control my emotions and I must control my feelings!
She can never enter my heart, a murderer like her only deserves death and nothing else.
"Are you happy?" Storm asked, Interrupting my deep thoughts.
"Why are you asking?" I furrowed my brows.
He took a step closer to me and replied "your eyes are not happy!"
As expected from Storm, he caught my act in a blink of an eye.
"You know my real motive, and I am still the old me!" My words left Storm speechless.
All of a sudden our conversation got interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come inside!" I commanded, and a housemaid walked over to me.
"Enya from the Snowmoon clan is here to greet you, Alpha! She said, bowing her head to me.
Her words surprised both Storm and me, and we gave each other a look of concern!
I came to the garden where she was waiting for me. Her unexpected presence was enough to tell me that I must not talk with her without building a strong guard.
"What do you want? I asked as soon as I got a glimpse of her.
A smile flashed on her lips and she took a step closer to me. Her body was speaking of her flirtatious behavior and her eyes were hiding an evil intention!
"What is it?" I asked again.
She lifted her hand and started moving her fingers on my chest back and forth whereas I immediately grabbed her wrist with my strong grip and threw a sharp gaze at her!
"You must be sad about your brother, my heart breaks for you!" Words came out of her mouth yet they were displeasing to my ears.
I freed her hand from my grip and took a few steps back from her!
"I know Larisa did wrong with your brother but still, she is my cousin and I am here to see if she's okay!" Her words seemed empty and her eyes were showing no concern at all.
I was right about Larisa, her entire clan is like her, manipulative and wicked. No wonder, her cousin is also the same as her!
"She is in her room and she is doing fine, no one is allowed to meet her!" I muttered, making my command clear.
A look of disappointment flashed on her face.
"I have to check on her!" She insisted.
"Well, you can see her at the time of our wedding!"
