Amelia's POV: "Thank you." My lips moved, saying the words out. "The gown is very lovely, thank you for it." "It's not mine." He said with a coy smile. "But your welcome." I nodded stiffly, not really appreciating his sarcasm. Richard clapped his hands and a flurry of servants appeared with serving dishes and started dishing food on my plate. Before my eyes I could see the food. A cut of steak that smelled absolutely divine, a side servicing of vegetables and potatoes, a piping hot gravy poured over the steak. A glass of wine was even poured for me. "I can't have wine." I said to the server who poured it. "My apologies, my lady." She replied and took the wine away, replacing it with water. Just as quickly as they appeared, they vanished. The aroma of the food was mouthwatering,
