About six months earlier, Sophie chased a fugitive into an unfinished building. When they were fighting, they fell off the third story; Sophie broke her leg, and the criminal was knocked unconscious. While she was supposed to be recovering, Sophie continued to work more than she should have and only worsened the injury, causing extreme pain at times.
Sophie had never told anyone about the pain, so how did Kevin know, “Are you investigating me?”
"No, but why don't you show me? I will treat it for you," Kevin smiled, his real fiancée was hurt, and he wanted to help. He still wanted to break off their engagement, but this was still not the right time. It would look bad for his reputation if he abandoned her while she was injured.
“Don’t come near me! It is none of your business!” Sophie stepped back and glared at Kevin.
"If you are injured, you need treatment. Don’t worry, I am a good doctor, and it will be fine in no time.”
"You...You…" Sophie stuttered.
"Shall we give you an office so you can talk privately? There are a lot of people around," Captain Christopher was curious about the young man; he was sure he was Sophie's boyfriend, though. Or, he could possibly be more than a boyfriend; things were different than in his days; it was normal to have s*x before marriage.
Although Sophie seemed to be furious the moment she saw Kevin, Captain Christopher thought it was just a way to cover up their relationship, so he didn’t feel awkward.
"Captain Christopher, he is not..."
"Don't talk nonsense! If you have an injury, you must have it taken care of!" Kevin stated impatiently. He wanted to heal Sophie's injury as soon as possible so that he could cancel their engagement. He rushed forward, threw Sophie over his shoulder, and walked toward Captain Christopher's office.
“You, Asshole! Put me down! What are you doing? Someone help me!” Sophie screamed.
The officers in the room shook their heads and then went back to their work.
Captain Christopher opened the door, and after Kevin was inside, he shut the door and locked it twice from the outside. He sighed helplessly, “Young men these days!”
Kevin put Sophie down next to the sofa. She reached out and slapped him, shouting, "Asshole!"
Not paying any attention to her, Kevin pointed at her, then her body became limp as she involuntarily fell back. The slap on Kevin's face felt like nothing more than a gentle breeze as if she gently caressed his cheek.
"What are you doing?
Asshole, why are you taking off my shoes? Hey, don't take off my pants! Kevin, I won't let you get away with this!"
Kevin gave a sly smile, "How can I heal your injury without taking off your pants?"
"I like purple!” Kevin said, referring to her panties, and smiled again, "So sexy and full of fantasy. My fiancée is perfect, except for her bad temper."
A crowd had gathered outside of the captain's office; they didn't dare to breathe. They couldn't imagine that Kevin had managed to take off Sophie's pants. She was famous for being fierce; the entire station was afraid of her. They didn't expect her to fall into Kevin's hands without a fight.
"Oh, it hurts."
The sound inside made everyone blush and excited with embarrassment. They thought something s****l was happening, but Kevin had only slightly touched Sophie's calf in reality.
"If it is out of place, and you just continue to endure it, your leg will be deformed in less than five years. If it is healed properly, you might need to have it cut off,” Kevin calmly explained in a serious tone.
Sophie was surprised that he genuinely wanted to heal her leg. She tried to resist screaming out in pain when he touched the place when she broke it. She whispered, "It hurts. Can you be gentler?"
When Sophie spoke to him before, she was like a tyrannosaurus rex, but her voice was gentle this time. He imagined that it would sound like that if she were seducing him. Kevin took a few deep breaths and reminded himself not to fall into a trap; he was there to cancel their engagement. He would cure her leg and hope that others wouldn't gossip about him breaking her heart.
"Don't worry, with me here; you will be fine. There are no injuries that can't be resolved with a fist, and if there is, then it will only take another hit," Kevin laughed and squatted in front of Sophie, placing her left leg on his thigh.
All of Sophie’s strength had been drained away. She couldn’t move; she could only watch and grit her teeth. She whispered under her breath, “When I can move, even if I am punished, I will kill you with one shot! Bastard! p*****t! Screw you!”
Kevin clenched both of his fists, with his middle finger's joints protruding slightly; it was an acupuncture method he invented. When someone was injured or sick on the battlefield, there was no time to stop to get traditional acupuncture treatments. Therefore, Kevin used his fists to find the acupuncture point, then designed a unique method and named it Lion Boxing.
The downside was that it appeared he was punching the person, so he had been teased by many of his teammates that there was no injury Lion Boxing couldn’t solve.
As Kevin's fists impacted Sophie's leg, she screamed in horror, but they barely touched her. Needles rushed to the acupuncture points, and an itching sensation arose around the bone. It felt as if the bone was being healed, yet the itching feeling was unbearable, causing Sophie to breathe heavily and moan.
The sounds coming from Sophie made Kevin slightly excited. Fortunately, he had a lot of willpower and had no choice but to endure it. But the people outside of Captain Christopher's office wondered if they were curing her leg. They looked at the captain to see if they should open the door to take a look.
Captain Christopher glared at them fiercely, "What? Do you want to take pictures or something?”
