Monday arrived after a weekend that seemed to drag by. I took Tessa to visit her folks just to get away from my mother. I’m not entirely sure why she’s extra crabby this week, but it has become unbearable between the mood swings, the excessive drinking, and the verbal attacks; I suggested to Tessa that we take a weekend to breathe.
