I woke up and felt a warm firm body up against my face. I moved a little and felt the sparks from direct skin contact with my mate. I was so in love with waking up next to James. I was so in love with him. I have always been.
I opened my eyes and saw the sunlight starting to come into our bedroom from the window. I ran my hand over his strong back and listened to him inhale deeply. I ran my hand up his back, over his shoulder and rested it on his chest. I ran my fingers through the thin black hair that covered it. I felt his hand cover mine and his thumb stroked the back of my hand before he pulled it away from his chest and kissed my wrist. He loved doing that and I enjoyed the hell out of it.
