System vs A.I vs Intuition

Apophis could feel the chaotic of Sheyken's emotion and he couldn't be prouder. 'He seemed to have been born with the innate talent to control them, but all the emotions have to go somewhere. That's why people who cry, laugh, get angry and let out their emotions appropriately are socially approachable. People get a sense that they have nothing to hide, but some of those people are even worse monsters than the ones who don't show their emotions.' He looked at his son and took note of this ability. It seems Sheyken had not noticed it yet and that was a very good thing for Apophis. He could surprise him. He knew he hated characters with what they called Plot armor. Since he was on that note, he decided to play with him a little. "You know, talking about the Guardians, there is a Guardian of Literature. One of his nature is to guide people or intelligent species who write stories in their worlds about our children. He plants the stories in the author's minds and lets it grow and in so doing, lets the author write it how he wants to." "So, you mean those stories I read about people being reincarnated, the main characters are children of Guardians?" Sheyken was finding this hard to believe. "Yes, but sometimes a Guardian would get bored, reincarnate someone and just watch them for entertainment. Just like I was able to do it with Sarah. Getting back to you though.... it's a pity someone decided to piss off almost all the well-known authors who write those kinds of novels. Who knows, maybe your story will be written by some guy out of nowhere who will write a mediocre story about you which would only be 10 chapters and leaving it just like that hahahaha..... " Apophis laughed so hard, you would think a world-famous comedian told a joke. Sheyken was basking in his shame. "Guess I would just have to ask my all so powerful father to introduce a little bit of chaos in that author's life so he could write a good story." Sheyken called him father for the first time to see how he would react and he got the reaction he wanted. Apophis almost choked on his spit. "Cough!!...cough!!.... YES!!, yes.... your powerful father...yes, yes". Apophis said with his chest starting to show off. "Now now....let's get back to you. You have to know that there are 9 others from Earth who are Guardian's children who have already crossed over to Planturos three days ago. Since we already know you are late on getting here, you should also know that 3 years have already passed on Planturos. An hour here is one year there plus getting your soul there and reincarnating you will take a year, so you are 5 years behind them. This is how this room works, but Guardians don't have this time difference. I can see there, on earth, and everywhere I want to see or be with no problem with the time difference." Sheyken was starting to feel the headache coming back because of all the information. Fighting was much easier. "Why didn't you make me smarter?" He asked out of the blue. Apophis looked at him and ask a question of his own, which he already knew what his answer will be. "Would you rather be a scholar or a warrior?" Sheyken did not answer. He knew that having a high I.Q did not make you smart. You could be a genius at quantum physiques but still make stupid decisions in life. Plus, his nature just did not allow him to go in that direction. He knew the importance of studying and he would do it, but he just could not put so much effort into it like when he was training. He kept quiet and let Apophis continue. Apophis looked at him for a while before continuing. "Those from Earth can only be reincarnated in Planturos this time around. I have no time to explain how that works, just ask me when we meet again if you want to know. You just have to know that when you see any of those 9, it is either kill or be killed.... Since we are almost out of time, we have to move on. Since you are my child, you already have two skills you were born with which are in line with your nature. I just tweaked them a little when you were still unconscious. You will get to see them when you get to Planturos." Sheyken was getting excited. The headache that was creeping in on him had long since vanished. This was his domain. When he read all those novels he could see himself doing better than many of the characters and now this was it. What he thought would never happen to him was happening. Apophis continued. "The universe grants us Guardians the permission to gift you a Blessing and Guidance. Let's start with Guidance since it will take the most time to explain. We have brought it down to three options. A System, A.i (Artificial Intelligence) and Intuition. A System will...." Apophis couldn't finish his sentence. "I choose Intuition!" Sheyken said without batting an eyelid. Apophis laughed. "Good, if you chose any of the other two, I would have put you on my lap and given you a good spanking." "Corporal punishment was banned you know." Sheyken said while trying to get the image of him as grown as he was being s*****d. "Hahahaha....in your world.... but not here. Besides, to someone who is hundreds of millions of years, you are still a child no matter how old you can be. Anyway, choosing intuition goes perfectly with the nature in you, but you should at least know that 8 of the others chose either the System or A.I guide. Sheyken did not know anything about his nature, he just wanted to achieve whatever he achieved by his own power. He always felt like those who had a system or A.I to help them, their achievements were not their own. He wasn't deluded though. He knew power achieved by any means was still power. "This saves as some more time since I don't have to explain about them. The last thing is the Blessing. This can be an Item or a skill you have always wanted, but if it goes beyond the technology or doesn't exist in some way in Planturos, the universe will not allow it. It cannot be an artifact or anything that is at a higher power level than your current level. Since another Guardian did us a favor by sending a demon to kill you and by the standards of Earth you managed to kill it, by the Laws of fairness between Guardians I can grant you both an enact skill and an item." Sheyken would be jumping around everywhere right now if he wasn't next to someone who seemingly would s***k him any chance he gets. "You know what I want right?" He asked almost impatiently. Apophis knew exactly what he wanted. He had been watching his kid for nineteen years now and there was only one skill he wished he had in order to pull pranks on Beak- hyun and let him shower him with insults thereafter. It was a skill he always wished for, for his combat would be complete as he would put it. Apophis smiled. "Yes, I know what it is, but as I said, it will have to match your power level so it might be useless until you train both yourself and it." "You said I have to get powerful right? if I'm able to develop it and I get killed while having trained this skill to the highest level, I would die without regret." Sheyken said. "It is funny how you talk about dying when u just died a few minutes ago. Anyway, I was already going to gift you it. I think I know the item you want but maybe you changed your mind?" Apophis could read his mind but did not want to. He was the Guardian of Chaos and could do whatever he wanted within the laws but this was his son. "No." Sheyken said intently. What he wanted was an item no character should ever be without if he wanted to survive in the novels he read. If he was shameless, he would be kissing Apophis's feet right now because whether this was the real world or not, he knew that getting this item was as hard as killing a level 20 boss in a game while you were still level 1. Unless he was going to be reincarnated as a prince or noble, it was unlikely he could get it. Plus, you did not need to be strong to have it. Apophis came closer and touched his forehead again and a blinding light appeared, within seconds the process was over. "You can take a look at the item, Blessing and other skills when you in Planturos." Apophis said while smiling. "We have about 20 minutes left. There is the problem of you being 5 years behind the other. They will be surely be stronger than you when you meet them if you don't work hard. Since we missed the day of when you would have been born 5 years ago, it goes without saying that your would-be parents had a child with its own soul, but I have a solution." Sheyken did not like where this was going. "No no no..... I'm not going to do what you think. Even if I wanted to, I told you, the worlds have their own laws.... just like the Universes." Sheyken was thanking whoever made those laws. If Apophis could kill anyone just like that, then he wasn't safe anywhere. He already had a Guardian trying to kill him for reasons he still hasn't gotten the answers to. "There is a child who died in the Bereavement woods two hours ago in Planturos time. His soul had passed on. I healed the wounds and I have been keeping his body in stasis for you. When your soul synchronizes with the body, it will change to how you were when you were 5 years old since I left a little bit of Luminescence in it. The only difference is that your skin will change. The skin tone of the child is light and we can not forcefully change it or you will end up multi colored which is either for creatures, monsters or demons." Sheyken did not care about any skin tone. Even when he was still alive, when he beat people up who were making fun of his skin it was because he took it as bullying. He just could not and did not want to understand how a person would hate another person because of how he was born. The thing shaking him up were the words 'Bereavement woods'. No matter how you put it, it just did not sound right, together with the fact that a child died there. 'What was the child even doing there?, what killed the child?' All these Questions were going through his head. "Wait....is there any other place I can synchronize at, either than the woods with a sinister name?" He asked with a frown. "No, we don't have time. The place is safe for 200 meters in every direction. No monster nor any creature can know what is in that part of the woods. They will just turn back where they came from when they wander in that direction. It is a spell the laws allowed me to put in place without any consequences. It will last for 3 months, so you can take as long as your like to get used to your body. The synchronization will take 7 days since I can't assist you once you are there. You will be unconscious during that time. When you leave, just hade north and you will find a city there. We have 10 minutes left now, is there anything you would like to ask?" "Yes. Is it possible if I can get some Vaseline, preferable a lifetime's worth?" Apophis couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Kid....don't tell me the first thing you want to do when you get to a new world is j******f???" Sheyken's pride as a man shattered. "No!!... I Just hate dry skin and would like to have my own moisturizer wherever I am. "Ok, but it will be from ingredients from Planturos." Apophis said while still laughing. "What is the other thing?" "I still want something that will remind me of who I was before I got into all this. So I would like to at least have a little bit of my original skin left, like a birthmark." He did not know why he wanted this, but it just felt right to him. "No problem, it is your body after all. Where do you want it and in what shape?" "Make it on my back and in the shape of a dragon". Sheyken replied "Are you sure kid? The dragons of that world don't play around." Apophis did not know why he would even mess around with that kind of species when he was still an Ant in an Elephant field. "I'm sure. What else in any world could represent Chaos? I am the son of Chaos and no creature should be atop of me...I mean when I am strong.... cough, cough." Sheyken started that sentence with a high pitch voice that ended with inaudible sounds for the last words. Apophis had never laughed so hard in millions of years. "Well, no one can dispute that you my son now. You will get your birthmark. We have 5 minutes left so let me give you as much advice as I can. First, the next time we meet will be when there is a significant event in your life or when you have become stronger. I will tell you then why you should have power and what it will give you. I just hope you will trust me. I am your father and that might be not enough but either way, you should trust no one else either than me." Apophis said while looking Sheyken in the eyes. "Until we meet again, you must with all you might and luck even if you hate that word, stay away from Dragons, Vengeful Spirits and Devils because when you meet any of them, you will die. Aw, I know I said don't trust anyone, but witches are the worst". Apophis said hurryingly. "One last thing. You have my soul, whenever there is chaos, disorder or anything that would result in chaos, you must know that at any point you are in control. You can choose to make it worse or make it less, either way, it will benefit you in some shape or form. You can make it as little as it can be but never make it so large that you can't control it or it will eat you up along with everything. All you can hope for before that happens is to guide it until you can calm it down." With those last words, Sheyken suddenly fell into a whirlpool of nothingness and lost consciousness. Apophis was still looking where Sheyken had been standing while hoping he gave him good advice. "This fatherhood thing is a lot of work." He said while sighing.
