Strange White Room

“Captain, do you really think we could defeat the Xarkes?” 

“Are you worried that we might be slain by his army, there’s no need to worry Wane. We had the divine favour on our side and with that surely could defeat Xarkes.” 

“I know but wasn’t Xarkes also a God before he became a demon. Would Zino's divine power be able to beat Xarkes power?” 

I put my hand on Wane's head as usual and said to him that there’s no way Xarkes power will manage to outrank Zino. As Zino was the God Of Eternal Glory and with his blessings bestowed on us, it was really hard for us to fail at our mission of killing Xarkes. 

Wane then looked at me with a smile as he said, “I believe in you, Captain! We’re all going to survive and…” 

Before Wane could say anything further, the scene had completely changed as I saw Wane head was lying on the ground. I then look around and notice there’s a lot of dead bodies near me. Most of the corpses have lost many parts of their body. 

It was really a horrible sight as I feel there’s something behind me. I turned behind and there I saw Xarkes standing there as he was laughing. I felt the emotion inside start to boil in anger as I drew my sword and lunged towards Xarkes. 

But I never could hit Xarkes, every time I was about to hit Xarkes. The demon god of time would always disappear and reappear further in front of me. 

Xarkes then raises his hand and seems to be chanting something. I know it wasn’t a good thing and it’s better for me to defeat Xarkes before he finishes chanting his spell. I dashed towards Xarkes… All of a sudden my body wouldn’t move and Xarkes released his spell on me. 

My eyes were open as all that I saw was a white colour, I tilt my head to the left and realise that there are some white-shirted people on that side. They seem to be talking about something but I couldn’t hear that well as they’re very far away from me. 

One of the people noticed me that woke up and immediately called the other people in here. While she was calling to the other people, I realized that all of that was a dream. That’s why I couldn’t hit Xarkes. 

“How’re you sir, are you feeling a little bit better?” One of the men asked me that question. 

I was really confused as to what was happening. All I remember was that there’s some guy who cast a spell towards me called a bullet. Seeing the entire place was white coloured, this might be the place. 

I also found that my steel armour and sword had gone. I was wearing this white coloured shirt as well. No wonder my body felt so light as I am not wearing any armour right now. There’s also a strange thing attached to me as it was a small tube that has a transparent liquid in it. 

Seeing all of that, I am more confident that this was indeed heaven. There’s no denying that and this man must be the servant of the gods that work here. They must be disguised as a human to make sure I feel comfortable. 

“Where am I? Is this heaven…” I ask that man. 

“No sir, you’re not dead yet as it was actually a miracle for you to survive even though your injury could be said fatally.” The man said that with a smile on his face. 

“Really? Why’s this place all white coloured then…” I was confused. 

“Because this was a hospital, sir, it wasn’t all white coloured as they’re other colours as well. It was just this room you are in right now that happens to be white coloured.” 

“Hospital? Is that some kind of the name of this place… It may sound weird but I do not know what that means at all.” 

I literally never heard that word before. I realized that there’s a lot of things that I didn’t know in this timeline. 

The man didn’t reply to my statement at all as he was talking with the girl beside her. There are some words that I didn’t know by hearing their conversation. 

“Doctor? Do you think this man here had amnesia… that might explain why he doesn’t know what a hospital is.” A girl beside the man said that. 

“Maybe you’re right, please make sure to diagnose it first just to make sure this man had amnesia or not. I would be going now as I need to inform the police.” 

“I will do that doctor, I will watch the patient and perform some tests on him.” The girl said that to the man. 

There’s suddenly a square hole appearing inside this strange place as he then walks into it. The man that completely disappears from this area only makes the girl and me alone in this strange place. 

The words hospital doesn’t pique my interest anymore after seeing that man completely vanish from this place. It makes me wonder and the only way for me to know was to ask this girl. 

“When that man is gone, he completely disappears…” 

“You mean the doctor? He just left the room to meet with the police that had found you lying unconsciously in the street.” 

This was a room? It surprised me to know that as it feels there’s infinite space at all in here. There’s no wall at all and it was quite shocking to know that this was actually a room. 

That's the future for me… 

The girl then drew out something from her pocket and it was another strange-looking metal object. It was a straight metal stick and she seems to be waving it in front of my face right now. 

I had no idea what she was doing at all, I literally had no idea.
