Chapter Thirty Nine

I woke up in the middle of the night , with my bedroom door being pounded on loudly . I sat up straight as my heart beat picked its pace up . The loud knocks didn't stop . The knocks soon turned into banging . I gulp walking to the door when the banging stopped . With my hands naturally in fists . I shiver un-clenching my hands three times before turning the door knob after unlocking the door but before I could open the door completely the door flew open from outside making me stumble back .

Stood there Nolan . And my father . My uncle shouting at my father while my aunt watched in a expression that I couldn't understand myself . She looked surprised . Before I could speak I was grabbed by my hand and I yelled loud . I was dragged . Pushed by Nolan down the stairs . While I struggled to get his hands of mine . I was brought in the living room . I glared at him as he pushed me to crash on the sofa . " What is this ?" He asked me . I frowned but when I look at his hands my confusion increased . 

" You went to your cousin sister , got a fucken lawyer and now trying get legally claim my land ?" He yelled , " Its mine you i***t !" I said but the harsh slap on my face stopped me from speaking any further , I couldn't hold my tears in my eyes, as they fell down my cheeks I only hear Nolan's bickering about the lawyer and the papers while Uncle tried stepping in but Nolan only threatened him . "You and your family will be in trouble if you much as to step between this Mark " Nolan said . 

I whimpered as dad pulled me from the couch . " If you don't listen to us , you know what will happen to your Uncle and his family . I can destroy his hose in seconds because I have the rights over it " I shivered as they both dragged me out . Uncle tried stopping them , even Kaden . But the one thing I saw was my Aunt holding o to Kaden's hands and shaking her head negative . She didn't want her son involved in this . 

She didn't want his life getting ruined because of me . I was pushed in the car with Uncle shouting at my father . But I only cried . I was take to that house . There where My parents lived . I was a big house . But I had my worst nightmares there . When I entered I saw mother standing there . With a frown . But I only glared at her . I knew she did it . Told them what was going on . She had people who could tell her about me . Everything I did . Everywhere I go . 

" Am-" , 

[Zanthus ]

There was nothing , no trace of her . No text , no call , nothing . I had walked in each class she had her lectures in , but I couldn't see her anywhere , Thinking she might be sick since she hadn't contacted me for three days now . So I waited . Waited until the fourth day . But there was nothing that I got . I sigh finally grabbing my jacket and swinging my leg over my bike and driving right towards her house . It was not fitting inside me well . I was getting anxious . I knocked on the door and her Aunt answered it .

" Is Ambriose home ?" I asked and she frowned . " Zanthus ?" She asked . " where is she ? " I answer and her eyes go wide with surprise . " I can't answer tat Zanthus" I clenched my jaw rolling my eyes . " please tell me where the f**k she is ? She hasn't been to classes . I haven't seen for four fucken days !" Her aunt visibly flinched . She gave out a tired sigh and stepped back . " Come in " I frowned . But walked in anyways . 

" She is gone " She said and I stopped my self from asking any further . Her Aunt sat down with her eyes on the floor . " They her away " That sparked something inside me . A rage . A need to get her back . I sat down and listened . To everything she told me about Ambriose and her uncle . Nolan , her father , her mother . Even the man who insisted on taking her away . 

My hope of seeing her again crumbled to the ground . " This is him . I'll tell you where he lives. But Please don't do anything about this situation " Her Aunt said and I frown ." You don't want me to see what's wrong ? You don't want her back ?" I asked . She started crying . " If you take her away from him . He will take our everything Zanthus . Please . Just wait , wait until this all cools down . My husband will make a right decision , but not when we have a huge warning set on our door step " 

I left that house that instant . I was confused , My girl was gone . What the f**k was I suppose to do ?

[Ambriose]

" Make sure you wear only you have giving , not anything else when you are with him " His cousin spoke and I looked up . " Can't I just get locked up in a room ?" I asked and they laughed . " No No honey " My heart skipped a beat out of fear when Gabriel stepped in the living room . " I have to show you off don't I now ?" He said , I only looked away from his evil eyes. 

" After all I have to show everyone how beautiful you are " I looked up with fear . He was the worst . Why was he acting this way ? Why was he trying to get me out in the public to show me off ? Was he ..No . He can't , He just can't . 

It was a day later that I was forced by him to wear a dress of his desire , I wore that revealing thing and walked towards him as he called for me . I obeyed him , because I had already received a harsh slap over my right cheek for slamming the door on his face . However much I tired to get away from his hold he would always come after me . Ever since grandma died . 

"Do not talk unless I ask you to yes ?" He stated and I nodded with tears still lingering around my eyes . " Adam !" He called out to a guy . He smiled and shook Gabriel's hand , " This is Ambriose " Adam took my hand kissing it . I only get more disgusted by this . That's when I see a man coming towards me . " Ah , Meet Alex . My nephew . " Adam said , Alex only smirked at me. I stepped back however Gabriel's hand on my back stopped me . 

" Meet Your future husband Ambriose . Don't shy away " My heart just stopped . 

This couldn't be happening . This can't happen . No . I stepped back taking Gabriel's hand off me and running away . I couldn't get away from them , The least I could do was avoid Them all . But Alex did not understand it .

That Night I was taken home and slapped by Gabriel . Again . He told me what I should and should not do . Alex was marrying me in less than a week . And I was then going to be living under his roof . I was too young for this . 

But Nolan's and Gabriel's warnings had me stay quite , If I oppose to this arrangement then My uncle will be facing problems . My father will never see his house again . Everything will be taken away from them if I do not agree . 

I was Lost , I didn't know what to do .What else could I do but sit on the floor and cry out until I passed out .

It was out of the blue . My heart was beating so fast . I could move the slightest . I almost had a heartattack . What was he thinking? How didn't he get caught ? How the hell did he know I was here ? What happened ?

What is happening ?

I breath in and breath out in the hand that was over my mouth . Zanthus stradding me . Holding my both hands tight so I couldn't move . My mouth was cover to stop me from screaming . I saw his face in the darkness . I thought I was dreaming . However it was true . He was here .Over my body holding me down . "Be a good girl and Do not make any noise . I am getting you out of here okay ?" I sucked in deep breath nodding.

As he stood up fixing his shirt which had a blood stain on it I gulp . "H-How ..how did you... " He sighs . "I'll explain everything later but I have to get your down this house right now there are guards outside " He spoke .His voice , it relaxed me . He grabbed my hand kissing it and my heart melted . "How did you get hurt ?" I ask . "That fucken Pipe line tore my shirt . Your windows have grill on them I had to come from the fucken bathroom" He grits .

"Let's get your out of here " He said grabbing my hand . I smile at his posture as he took me to the bathroom and I saw the small window and its glass broken . How did I not here it break? Just when he was about to help me get up I relazied my life was not a fairy tale . I had things to take care of . I would not enjoy leaving here and letting everyone I know down . So I stopped. He looked back at my face which was looking at the ground .

"I really like you Zanthus " I whispered . He grabbed my face and kissed my forehead . "I really like you too My girl but this is not the time " I shook my head stepping back and walking to the room . "Ambriose ! " He whisper -yelled . " I use to love when My mom brushed my hair . I love my dad . I love my uncle and aunt who didn't give up on me and who struggled to keep me safe . I love my brother because he always protected me . " I sigh sitting down and looking at Zanthus .

His face was holding this emotion That I could never tell. It was pure confusion but also some realization . I could understand it . "Ambriose " He whispered softly . I stood up and walked to him . Kissing his cheek lightly . "If I leave they will destroy the life of my family that I love . They will take everything away from me and them . They will be left with no shelter . If I marry Alex , Uncle will never have to worry about his house being under Gabriel's possession . Mom and dad can live a Normal life . So I have decided to not be selfish and marry him . Its better to sacrifice one than ten " I said and saw it . Zanthus had anger over his face .

"You will hate me now and I know You do already . But My decision is clear ....I-I think I will just ..let go my freedom " I whispered . Tears ran down my cheeks . "You don't understand . I came here for you .Only you . We'll figure out a way to end this . I will get my dad's help . I promise I will make your family have better place to live . Please just come to me . Come with me " He was convincing enough but I shook my head crying .

" You are the worst " I said but father pushed me to sit on the table and threw the papers in front of me . Nolan walked in with a pen and held my jaw . " Sign it " He said . " NO "  yelled but he slapped me again to which my body melted and froze . He had done this . Go as far as to slap a thirteen year old for a signature and money . " You see this ?" He said and I looked up to see a folder in his hand . " Those are the agreements on your dear uncle's house. I have it with me . I burn it and the next day he is thrown out his house . 

My eyes stayed on him getting wide with fear , I shook my head , I couldn't let that happen . Uncle will lose his house . Kaden's future ,My Aunt will hate me more . But on the other hand if I signed it I am sure Nolan will use this chance and make my parents and me homeless . I gulp and whimpered and Nolan yelled at me . Uncle has helped me for a long time . I think I would rather save them then my own parents . But they were my parents , I loved them ever after what they had done . 

So I pushed the damn pen away and look at Nolan . " I want a written agreement that this house will be under my father's name . Now " I said and Nolan went crazy ." You want to play me in my game !?" He yelled . " I have my conditions !! I will only sign if I know that they have a roof over them after you have got what you wanted" Nolan only laughed . " Fine " He said and walked out the house slamming the door shut . I just sat there , Confused , not understanding what was going on . I looked at my parents . My father turned his back to me and walked away . " Go back to your old room Ambriose " I only watched her disappear after father . I had no phone , There wasn't a common phone in this house . My ego was overpowering , I will not ask ask for their cell phones .

So I walked in my old bed room . It brought back memories , But bad ones . I remember been yelled by my father because I was so determined to not give up and gave my signature . Those days were at least good as compared to now . I could yell at them and slam the door on their faces . But now . One wrong move and MY Uncle loses everything . I wish grandma was here . I wish my cousin could just figure something out and get me out of here but what could she do . She was miles away , and she didn't have a clue that I was stuck here . 

The next morning came , the moment I woke up my mother was practically dragging me to shower and then down the stairs . When I saw Nolan's face my colour drained . The person sitting beside him was even worst , He was the prime reason my father forced me to give up the land gift to me . That person was my Father's brother ,Gabriel , The biggest jerk . He must have dragged my father into this . 

" So . Have a seat lady , let me explain what's gonna happen now " I gulp sitting down while my parents sat in front of me . " This house is named on your father , These are the papers . And these are the papers you have to sign on . You sign these then your father get's these ." After a long age of time I take the pen and start signing the papers . 

Whatever , This was a gift from my grandma to me . I am doing right by giving it away just because I want everyone safe . Besides , after this , they won't bother me , I will just go away . Take someone money from my parents go back to studying in a university and live in a dorm room . I have it all sort out , I will not let this bother me  . 

So there it went . The papers in the hands of those who will exploit the land . Probably open bars and motels on them . Open club and take money from others . But after all these thinking , the really reason why My father's brother was here came up . And it shattered me . 

" We have decided , After all this trouble you have put us through , we will not trouble you and be kind . Now the thing is , people will ask you about this and we will have to make sure your mouth stays shut , Whatever we do on this land will because you gave us the permission to " I went crazy . " NO I DIDN'T !!" But one look from him made me shut my mouth . He could hurt me. I knew it ." Shut your mouth and listen " Nolan said . I teared up . I was done with this . I don't want anything butt to get out . 

" I have given you what you wanted . Now leave me alone" I said standing up and walking to the door but  Gabriel stopped me . " Not so soon " He said and pushed me towards him . He then held my shoulder and pushed me to sit down then keeled in front of me . His eyes were cold and sinister . " Listen up " He said . " You will be living with me from now on "  This can't be happening . No. 

 " No " I whispered but he smirked . " I will have to keep a close eyes on you princess " I shook my head . " Oh yes . I will have to make sure you don't do anything funny . And now that your father is okay with it . You will be doing what ever I want you to " 

I immediately turned my gaze to my father . Who only looked away . " How could you !?" I yelled . " Sush now . I will be here tomorrow , I want the bags ready and I want her ready " . " WHY !!?? " I yelled and he looked at me . " Why do you want to do this . I promise I won't tell anyone !" I shout but he only smiled with that evil and vile looking eyes  and walked out with Nolan behind him .
