I couldn't believe how grown my baby now was. She accepted us. I mean, it's not like she had any other choice; I wouldn't have allowed her to leave anyway, but I am more happy and excited that she accepted us. I had set my alarm to wake me up at 5:30 a.m. so that I would have enough time to make breakfast for my mom and Josh. Yes, even though we have maids and a butler, because of yesterday being so emotional and weird for everyone, especially me, and me knowing how hard it must have been for mom and Josh, thinking they would be the odd ones in my eyes, I just wanted to show them I understand. Even though I had Stacy and Clarissa in my old school, we weren't popular; in fact, we would be what the other students would call the odd ones or losers, so yeah, I get it, and because of that, I wanted mom and Josh to know that in our little family, no matter how weird we are and different, there aren't any odd ducks, so to say (giggling). My mind and heart were saying get up, Amy, but my body was saying no, you ain't getting out of this bed so damn early, but I wanted to do my best to show the only two people I call family that I love and appreciate them.

I got out of bed with my hair all messy and a bit of mouth water on the side of my cheeks. Yes, people, my morning face isn't anything special, and it is anything but cute, but nothing some soap, a toothbrush, and my hair brush couldn't handle. When I finish up in my bathroom, getting ready to go down to the kitchen to start making my favorite pancakes and eggs with my favorite tea, of course, caramel tea, I bump into Aerial at my door, giving me such a fright.

"Oh my God, Aerial, I'm seriously going to think about putting a bell on you. What are you doing up this early, by the way".

"Mom and I normally get up this early, Amy; since we will have house duties all day, mom likes to get up early and start the day with a run in the nearby forest", she said.

Oh, really, well, maybe I will join you guys on your run one of these mornings.

Aerial giggled and looked up to me and said, "I don't think so, Amy; you are a human; you wouldn't be able to catch up to us".

Oh, so you guys are? Never mind, Aerial, I should get to the kitchen. You can inform your mom that I will be in the kitchen and would like her help with something, please.

"Amy, don't worry; you are not weird".

I smiled to myself; I was just thinking, "Could she have? Nah." But I really didn't know if she could. I had to ask Josh to tell me all he knows about werewolves and if they could read thoughts. I had spent a few minutes making preparations for this morning's breakfast when a medium-built woman with long brown hair and blue eyes walked into the kitchen.

"Good morning, Ms. Amy, "My name is Juliette, and I am the head maid of this household. How may I be of service to you?"

"Good morning, Ms. Juliet; please call me Amy, and I wanted to make breakfast this morning for everyone. Aerial told me her mom is the head maid of this house. I'm guessing that's you. I wanted to ask for permission to use your kitchen. I had already started, but I hope to also get your help".

I saw the lady in front of me smile from ear to ear before she said, "You're not so bad; I see why Aerial likes you". I smiled a bright, wide smile at her and nodded my head.

we cooked breakfast for a short while before josh walks in and started stuffing is face with blueberry pancakes, Juliet was about to leave when i ask her to please have a seat and have breakfast with us and i will go get mom and Aerial, but as if she was waiting at the door before i could step outside the kitchen Aerial rushed in and started eating as if she hadn't eaten anything in two days, we all laughed and i walk away to get mom, i went up the stairs thinking to myself this was a peaceful morning and i wish dad was here he would have loved every moment of it, i came to mom bedroom door and made a small knock but there was no answer so i knock again and called mom softly but enough for her to here and still no answer so i turn the doorknob and open the door to reveal my mom fast asleep snoring i remember dad use to make fun of mom saying she was this petite and the most gorgeous woman in the day but at night she sounded like an old 1983 carrinha bedford van, i giggled and jump onto moms bed, wake up mom, wake up i made breakfast and Josh and Aerial will finish it all if you continued to sleep all day

Mom stretched her arms, trying to stretch away the sleep. She looked so adorable. "Uh, Amelia, honey, what time is it?

"At 9:30 in the morning, I made blueberry pancakes, your favorites."

"You did; is Josh awake?"

"Yep, I said I was popping the P at the end and already eating".

"Shoot, then I better get up if I want some breakfast then".

My mom wasn't like most moms; sure, she had rules, and we had to show respect to our elders and would never be disobedient, but she was my mom and sister wrapped in one, and I love her for that even more after yesterday.

"Let's go, honey, before your brother finishes all that food. Have you eaten yet?"

"Yes, mom, every pancake I make after that one goes straight to my belly", We both laughed as we made our way to the kitchen.

The day was pretty much spent with everyone getting to know each other we played games, watched movies, we swim in our huge backyard pool, and Ms. Juliet made a barbeque we all ate dinner in the backyard, today was so much fun i get to know Aerial, my brother and i will be starting school tomorrow and Aerial and i will be attending the same high school, that was a relief at least i will have her so i won't feel out of place, mom warned me to keep to Aerial and not get into any trouble and that even though she grew up here when she left with my father she had abandoned her pack and in order for us to stay here she had to speak with the Alpha here and ask him for entry on the land for her, josh and I, i didn't really understand the title "Alpha" but i'm guessing he was the boss, i told my mom not to worry i won't get into any trouble, all my mom did was chuckled and said " yeah we will see" josh was basically a senior so he didn't really needed any talking to and besides my brother is a freaking werewolf no one would want to mess with him, after diner josh and I helped Ms Juliet and Aerial do the dishes more like Ms. juliet, josh and I, for some reason Josh didn't want Aerial to lift a finger and i couldn't help to think my big brother was finally growing up and acting like the older one, i just have to tell mom, i ran into the living room and sit beside my mom who was watching some soap drama on tv.

"Mom, did you see how Josh was acting all gentlemanly with Aerial?"

"HMM, you notice that, huh"?

"Um, yeah, Clarissa has been trying for like 4 years to get Josh's attention, mom, and I have never seen him look at her or any other girl, much less treat any other girl so sweet. How could I not notice that? To be honest, I am proud".

Mom laughed so hard that she started to cough. When she finally was able to catch her breath, she said, "Well, dear, that is because Aerial is your brother's mate.

"Do you mean like you and dad were?"

"Yes, Amy, she was made by the moon goddess just for Josh and Josh for her, so she and Josh have a bond that no one can break except death, and if you weren't so upset at me when we got here Friday, you would've realized when your brother found his mate".

"So you're saying that Josh will only love Aerial forever, just like you love Daddy?"

"Yes, that is correct, Sweedie.".

"So then Josh could have had baseless flings and chosen to wait for Aerial?

"Yes, honey, your brother may be a werewolf, but he is still your father's son, and he is as much a gentleman as your father ever was".

At this moment, I saw my brother not as annoying or the oblivious jerk who totally disregards my best friend's feelings, but as the respectable gentleman he is, and I wouldn't trade him for the world, well, until he does something stupid.

"Mom, I hope Aerial knows how lucky she is, and she better not break Josh's heart. Werewolf or not, I will break her neck if she hurts my brother".

My mom laughed and laughed and said, "Oh, honey, I know you would." I kissed my mom on the cheek and said good night before heading to bed. Tomorrow was school, and I really wanted to get a good night's rest. I crawled into bed, and before I knew it, I was already drifting into dreamland.
