At first, I was happy about her taking me shopping, but after quite a time, I started to feel ashamed.
We hang out together around the city under her care. By the way, her city is far away from the royal capital. The city is called Springwood city. A city surrounded by mountains, vast green forest, and wide grassland perfect for rising cows.
Rice fields, farms, ponds, and many more things connected to agriculture can be found here. Aster also owned a private airship to transport her goods to other cities.
The city is booming in wealth. People are nice and hard working. Every time we pass by, people always come to say “Hello” or wave their hands toward Aster.
Her people loving her proves that she is truly a wonderful person.
Good looks and kind heart… She is near perfect. Boys that don’t see her charms are truly blind. If I was a man, I would choose her to become my wife immediately.
“Are you fine, Hanayuki? You’re walking too far behind me.”
The glances of “Who is that girl?” are all targeted at me. It's kind of embarrassing walking beside her. Well, there is another reason. But I don’t want to tell her about it.
“The sun is getting harsher… I guess you’re getting thirsty. After visiting the tailoring shop, well, have lunch… Wait for a second…”
Aster noticed my unusual walking and grabbed my hand. She pulled me and made me sit down on the bench chair on the sidewalk.
She turned down her sight to my foot and take off my heels.

“I’m not good at wearing high heels. Honestly, this is my first time wearing one… I’m just borrowing your things. I feel very ashamed if I become too demanding.”
“So that’s your worry… Just say what you want. Even Hanayuki doesn’t want to join my party. You’re my friend. I don’t want my friend to be in pain.”
Aster sure is sweet.
She held my ankle and cast healing magic. Greenlight was collected in one spot. After a few seconds, the bruise was gone and my ankle was back to normal.
Healing magic is very convenient. I’ll try learning it too. Just in case I get into some emergency.

“I was just walking around and saw two beautiful flowers... This must be destiny. Hey, cuties are free for some tea party.”
Who is this guy? He approached us with high confidence.
Everyone in this city knows Aster is… Probably this one is a visitor like myself.
“It’s my treat… I’ll make you both the happiest with my care.” He walked close to Aster and in her ears, he whispered. “I’ll make both of you feel in heaven on my bed.”
After he whispered, Aster’s fist rose. Uppercut the arrogant man. The sound of his jaws cracking was heard.
The man recovered from the attack and glared at Aster.
“Who am I? I’m one of the royalty… Nicko Vermillion… Do you know the consequences of royalty?! You should be grateful that I have come to invite you.”
He retaliated.
This guy sure has a nice face, but it doesn’t mean he's desirable. A man’s character is the most important thing. The way he shows his true colors is very nasty.
“A Vermillion…”
Vermillion is one of the three royalty running the whole kingdom. Royalties and authority are second to the king, and picking a fight with them is difficult.
“I won’t regret it… You tried to do something inappropriate to me and my friend. You deserve a fist.”
“Looking at your face closely… I remember who you are… You’re Aster Grandbell, one of the powers. Do you know I can demote you from your position after what you’ve done? Aster was astonished and lowered her head.
“What are you talking about? Aster didn’t do anything?”
After hearing his threats, I couldn’t let the sweet Aster be in trouble.
“Stay quiet, midget.”
“Who are you calling a midget?”
Without a second thought, I delivered a lightning punch toward the arrogant man’s face. Blasting him at the nearby vending machine. Soda and juices came falling on his head.
“The uppercut is not Aster’s fault… It is my fault… If you want to threaten me. Bring it on!”
“You’re taking full responsibility… Foolish girl… I’ll make your family suffer.”
“I don’t have a family... I didn’t remember them. I’m alone and have nothing to lose. I’m not that afraid of giving you a pain that your father never let you feel.”
Aster charged forward, delivering another punch.
Without showing any mercy, she beat down royalty to a pulp. The pretty face earlier was not swollen with violet and red colors. The beaten man goes down slamming.
I kinda understand why you don’t want a super-strong wife.

“Is this okay? Picking a fight with a royal is bad, right?”
“Nope, this one is definitely an impostor… Royalties have insane magical power within their body. A royalty could at least endure my normal punches.”
She mentioned it before.

After that, we went to the tailoring shop. Getting my measurements for the dress I’m using at the party. We go to lunch together, of course, her treat.
Eating free food is the best.
While walking in the streets, I thought of giving something to Aster in return for her kindness.
The question is… What am I supposed to get for her? Aster had almost everything in her life already because of her wealth.

I noticed something interesting.
The sky turned orange and the sunset. I was riding a carriage back to Aster's mansion. I pulled my present from my sling bag to Aster.
“Aster here.”
I present my gift to her. It is a small plushy. A snow-white teddy bear and a sapphire blue button as its eyes.
Earlier, I saw her taking a glance at the plushy. I snuck behind her and bought one for her.
“What is this for?”
“ It's a present… I want to do something to return to Aster. If you don’t like it, you can just toss it away.”
“Of course…”
Figures, something cheap won’t fit her taste.
“... Of course, I wouldn’t do anything so cruel. This present is from my friend. I’ll treasure it forever and ever.”
Aster said.
She embraced the snow-white teddy bear in her arms. While she’s doing that, she resembles a small kid hugging her favorite toy.
I’m anxious about how she's going to react to this. I’m glad she likes it.
“Thank you, Hanayuki.”
“You’re welcome.”
Despite being cool, reliable, and strong.
Aster still likes cute things.
“Why are you grinning?”
“Nothing… Aster is so cute.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Nothing…”

“Just look at them…How wonderful… They have so much fun together. Hanayuki leaves you alone in that city while she enjoys herself traveling. She should just straight tell you that she doesn’t need you.”
Audrey said with a crystal ball, showing Hanayuki and Aster’s fun time. On the opposite side of the seat was Shaymi, who looked defeated at what she saw.
“She is so terrible… Just because you’re not as strong as that girl. She tosses you aside. I thought she was a wonderful friend. Maybe I’m wrong.”
“That’s untrue…”
“This is reality… Liars like Hanayuki should go down to hell. In this city, you’re suffering because you’re exceptional. After Hanayuki leaves, you’re always alone…. You’re being discriminated against and cast aside. I saw everything. I know how you feel because just like I know loneliness.”
“What am I going to do?”
“What do you want?”
“I want to travel with Hanayuki again.”

That night, Shaymi took Audrey’s hand. Shaymi did have a bad feeling about her taking Audrey’s hands.
But considering her current feelings. Wanting to go back to Hanayuki is something she only desires.
Shaymi is ready to take a devil’s offer.
“I want to be strong… I want to be acknowledged by Hanayuki too.”
“Then, you made a great choice… I’ll make you very strong.”
… Strong enough to kill your friend. This child might have incredible power within her, but she is a moron at heart like all children in this world.
