Chapter 86: Death game starts!

“Being attacked? How could they know we were coming?”
Olivia asked herself, a little puzzled. Leona, who was driving the dragon she mounted, pushed her away from the dragon hastily.
“My lady!”
The dragon’s head was sliced by an invisible blade, the same as Hanayuki’s dragon. The thing happened so fast that Leona’s left arm was caught by the invisible blade.
“Leona your arms?”
“My arm is nothing compared to the person who gives my life direction.”
Leona stated giving Olivia a sense of ease. She swings her fist with her magic, intercepting the next invisible blade coming in their direction.
“Dynamic punch!”
An explosion appeared in the sky.
Meanwhile, on the shore of the east island, a man covered with black seems to be waiting for Olivia to arrive. Having his face up, enjoy the scene of dragons falling one by one from the sky. She was very pleased to know that Olivia’s plan had been foiled.
“Her death will have a great impact on the Redgrave family… This is interesting. Hey, Are you fine being here? They’ll find out who sells them out quickly.”
The hooded man said to the girl on the shore who threw the invisible blade and attacked the dragon.
The girl was one of the powers. The rapier power, Viola. She was the most silent and shy of all of the current powers and a spy from Audrey’s faction.
There was a time in her life when Viola considered herself unable to find true happiness in life. She knows that she is merely a plaything for males. She’s just a toy to pleasure men.
Everything changed when Princess Noah defeated the people, enslaving her. Despite being high in drugs and covered with male seeds.
Princess Noah offered her hand, deciding to help her. That memory is never forgotten in her mind or body. The kindness she believes in and the dream of being pure again.
From that point, she worked her hardest and became one of the powers. She pledges herself to serve Princess Noah and realizes their dream of resetting the world.
“There is no point in hiding… The game has started… We have to kill them all. All players must kill their opponent.”
Viola said.
She charges her energy and magic on her rapier. In one single full swing, she created an invisible blade that flies through the sea. Cutting it open together with the clouds in the sky.
“They are all good at dodging… Fighting them heads on would be hard for us… Scattering them and killing them one by one would be likely.”
The hooded man stood up and placed his hands together like he was praying to some kind of god.
Hanayuki was falling rapidly from the sky. When she noticed a great white light swallowing her body. The same phenomenon happened to the others together with her. After being swallowed by the light, Hanayuki found herself in the deep woods.
“Where are they?”
A speeding shadow comes toward Hanayuki at high speed, scratching her.
“?!”
“Kaw! Kaw!”
“Kaw?”
The shadow landed on a thick branch, revealing himself to Hanayuki.
“Good morning… I’ll be your opponent in this death match… My name is Crowman! Crowman!”
He said and flapped his wings. He's a man wearing the costume of a crow.
A monster? No, this is a human…
“What do you mean by deathmatch? Also, why are you looking so weird?”
Hanayuki casually asked.
“That’s very rude of you to call my work weird… This is my combat suit… I‘m a hero that preserves love and justice in the world… That’s weird you didn’t know the game was taking place right now… Lord Audrey held this game to choose chosen ones. The top ten who killed the most would be the winners of this game… Kaw!”
“The rules weren’t explained to us… We came here to retrieve Noah’s Ark and Angel Sandalphon.”
The Crowman pointed a cursor on top of my head.
“That cursor in your head was the proof that you are one of the players participating in this game. You should be happy, lord Audrey has chosen you to have this chance. The chance to experience the new world she would create.”
“Hearing her name by the Lord would make me vomit… There is no way I’ll bow my head to that psychotic girl!”
Crowman moves at high speed again, launching a powerful kick. I dodge the kick and he crushes it down to the ground. Smashing the soil to rubble.
He flaps his wings, sending him up high in the air.
“That was fast… You have the speed…”
Of course, I have it… It was my forte.
“Lightning speed!”
Hanayuki kicks the ground, sending her toward the Crowman. She delivers an ax kick to the man’s shoulder. Sending him down.
Before he crushes and recovers… Crowman recovers and goes to go back to Hanayuki. Hanayuki had already prepared with her fist zapping with lightning.
“Lightning punch!”
Her fist crashed on his chin. The shock from the punch put him in a knocked-out state. His body was sent slamming into the thick tree and he dropped unconscious.
To be sure that the weird man would not move again. Hanayuki chanted paralyzing magic.
“This would be okay… I’ll send him to prison after this.”
Hanayuki looked at her cursor from the nearby river water and noticed a number. On her head was number zero. She took a glance at Crowman again and saw number two.
If her speculation was correct, the number on the cursor was indicating the number of people killed by the player.
“I have to check… Lightning spear…”
Hanayuki threw her magic upward. Before reaching the sky, a barrier has stopped the lightning spear from escaping to a certain altitude.
“The Crowman is right… We’re inside a barrier… Not just an ordinary barrier. It was a high-level barrier with rules placed inside of it. Audrey is definitely making us play her game. From the start, she knew where he was coming from… The white light that swallowed us earlier, teleported us to a random location on this island… I fell into her trap.”
Hanayuki said, disappointed in herself.
“Another player over here…”
“Look, Crowman is unconscious, seems like she’s the one who defeated him. He's not killed… And she has zero on her cursor. It looks like we have a girl who is afraid of killing somebody. This is an unlucky day for you… Cause an innocent, pure girl like you has no place in this game.”
Hanayuki turned her body to the people talking and saw them all wearing costumes like Crowman. A man wearing a crocodile costume and a girl wearing a chicken costume.
“Another weirdo…”
I kinda like that chicken costume… I want to wear it.
Hanayuki seriously moves toward the two people in costume.
In a split second, the two new arrivals were knocked down by Hanayuki. The girl wearing a chicken mascot costume was taken off and worn by Hanayuki. She didn’t leave the girl naked. She at least covered her body with a thick bush.
With this costume… the enemy might think that I’m their comrade. Now, all I have to do is find the game master and kick her ass. Ending this non-sense game she made.
Before she walked away. She goes back to the people she knocked down. She wakes up the man in a crocodile costume by splashing water from the river.
“Guah! So cold!” He screamed.
“Don’t be so loud… I have some questions to ask.”
Hanayuki conjured a knife in her hand, threatening the man’s life if he didn’t answer her question.
Cold sweat comes falling on the man, accompanied by the vibration of his body.
“Where can I find Audrey?”
The man raises his hand, pointing in the north direction.
“In the far north, there was a castle… I’m not sure but that is the last place where we saw her.”
“Thank you…”
Hanayuki used her lighting to electrocute the man back into an unconscious state.
The moment she made her leave, Hanayuki crossed paths with five bandits. They first ignore the girl in the chicken costume, but after a second of thought, the bandits rotated their bodies and all their weapons pointed at Hanayuki.
Hanayuki punches their faces with lightning punches one by one. Defeating them in a few seconds.
“I thought I was in disguise?!”
Hanayuki complained to herself.
