Chapter Four Day One Olivia took a deep breath as she took her seat on the airplane and laid her head against the headrest. Of course the trip was an impulsive move, but even Munson would have approved her plans for a three day weekend at a Florida resort. Everyone seemed to think that the stressed out prosecutor needed a little time away. However, no one but Olivia knew just how necessary those three days would be. The attacks and their aftermath—especially the last one—had compromised an important case and her job, and she was still not sure in which direction she should proceed. She found herself teetering between making a full confession of everything that had happened in the last month, to admitting just enough to save her job—if it could be salvaged at all. But with a few days away
