With her safety line secured, Kasinda was ready to begin. “I’m moving over to Auxiliary One now,” she said. Inside the ship, Alex would be wearing one of the other spacesuits in order to communicate with her over the radio. Her magnetic boots clung firmly to the surface of the hull, making walking an awkward process; she had to slide a leg gradually off the hull and move it forward, then set it down deliberately before she picked the other one up.
