Chapter 12: Auction House.

I go to the Auction House which is pretty close to the basecamp of the Adventurer and Treasure Hunter called Guild.
Auction House is actually a part of Guild... So anyone with money can enter this auction. Not like the exclusive Auction House that was held by the Royal Family.
That kind of Auction is usually more profitable for me... But I can't afford to wait for the participants of the Auction.
The Faster I registered this item to the Auction. The Higher the quality would be... And that alone is worth it...
And Unlike the Royal Auction. Auction from Guild can be held at any point. That's why Guild is better for someone like me...
Anyway... It doesn't take long for me to reach the Auction house... It's really quiet at night... But in a couple of hours, it would be filled with other fishermen that is auctioning their high quality catch such as Tuna or something like that...
"Welcome to the Guild Auction! What can I help you with? Searching for an Item? Or Selling an Item?"
The Receptionist Greet me with the sweetest smile a worker can give... I put my Identification Card to the table... And she saw the Gold Color and it's enough for her to treat me with Respect.
"Yes Sir. What can I do for you?"
Her tone turn to her real tone. Which is slightly deeper... Now she's serious. She know that people like me hate to waste time and service like that...
"I want to Sell An Adult Sea Dragon. The length is about Seventy Meters and the Diameter of the Sea Dragon is about a meter."
"Understood. When do you want to hold the Auction?"
"As soon as possible. If possible, I want the Auction to be held right now."
The Receptionist Nodded in respect and then started sending information to the Guild... And then from my knowledge, the Guild send this information to the Royal Family and Nobles through the Royal Auction...
And with that... The Receptionist look at me.
"May I ask where is the Sea Dragon is located?"
"The Sea Dragon is currently located on the shore. It's with my boat right now."
"Understood! We're going to hold the Auction immediately. Can you guide me to the Dragon?"
"Of course. Follow me."
The Registration went smoothly because I have the Gold Identification card... The Gold Identification Card is essentially told people what Rank I am in the Guild... The higher your rank are, the easier it is to go through dangerous area and doing anything that Guild Related...
Anyway... I walk back straight to the Boat and then the Auction Worker was surprised to find how small my boat is, and how there's a couple of people passed out cold on my boat...
But she decided to ignore that and look at the Sea Dragon behind my boat. She was shock to find it... But quickly... She operate the Hook Crane on the side of the dock. The Crane is pretty tall... But I don't think it's enough to pull my Seventy Meters Dragon straight into the air...
So I guess it's going to slump on the ground a bit...
I de-chain the Sea Dragon from the back of my boat and De-link my Rod of Lyssa... Anyway. I ignore the Coast guard that passed out cold on my boat for the time being and then let the Auction Worker pull the Crane up...
More Auction worker appear to help the woman and then a lot of carriage comes as well... And from the carriage, a lot of nobles that look really sleepy come out...
But their sleepiness disappear the moment they see my Sea Dragon... They started admiring the Dragon from afar.
They know that this Dragon is as fresh as it could be... And with little scratches on the scales... They're impressed that there's only a total of three wound that the Dragon received. Two of it is on the body of the Dragon. And the last one is the fatal shot...
Everyone claps their hands toward me and then I just nodded like 'That's right... That's the respect I wanted.'
Now, throw all of your life savings for this Dragon! It's worth it! You can sell it for more in the Royal Auction later on! Come on! I NEED MONEY RIGHT NOW!!!
Anyway... Now that everyone is here... I grab all the Passed out Coast Guard and then Grab my Rod of Lyssa that I've de-linked.
"Um... Who are they? Why are they wearing a coast guard uniform?"
People started asking me who they are... And then... I just be blatant to them.
"This people are the Coast guards that try to use Law to scam me. I will introduce myself... I am a Native in Engineas. I was born and lived for Eighteen years in this city. I become Adventurer and Treasure Hunter in this very city. I know the law quite well.
But this lots try to use a fake law to scam me. First, they stop me from going into the city. I show them my Identity Card. They still didn't let me... They try to scam me by saying that there's a Law where you need to give 30% of every Catch to the Coast Guard.
It's not fair right? You guys are trying to buy this Sea Dragon and willing to pay a high price for it! And these guys try to grab 30% of it for free! How is that fair?!"
I complains to all the nobles here... I don't know what ranked they are.... But they was furious... The Nobles immediately call the local guards and force them to catch this scammers and brought them to the Royal Family...
Hahaha~ Screw you. I would be willing to let you guys go. But if I let you guys go, You guys might steal more stuff from other people... So I hope you guys were executed.
Anyway... I stand right beside my Catch and then the Auction Worker started screaming.
"ALRIGHT! THE BID STARTED FROM 7 MILLION!"
The way Sea Dragon price is set... For adult, it's One Million per Ten Meters. And for Juvenile. One Hundred Thousand per Ten Meters.
The Starting price is 7 Million... And the Nobles and other people started the bid wars... Aaah... Hearing the number goes higher and higher felt so nice to my ears...
