*Her* Fiona awoke still groggy from sleep. She started to shiver. The cold snapped her out of her sleepy state.  She started to panic as she realised she was tied to a tree. "what..?" In the dark there came a familiar chuckle that froze Fiona in place.  "Ha ha ha....my little mate.....I found you.." ~12 hours prior ~  Fiona was sitting at her desk in front of the blackboard. She had a history book sprawled out in front of her. "Did you all do your homework? I want each of you, to tell me one fact about the world wars, starting with....you Benjamin." She pointed to the little boy sitting at the desk close to the door.   His cheeks went red and he stood up with a piece of paper. His hands shaking. "O...O..on the f...first day of...of August nineteen fourteen....Germany...declared war...O...on... Russia..." Fiona smiled. "Well done Ben."  Fiona stopped. She had goosebumps on the back of her neck, she felt like she was being watched.  She cleared her throat. "Next up is...Penny." the little girl with the desk besides Ben, stood up. She proudly spoke. " The first battle in world war one was on August the fourth, nineteen fourteen when German troops crossed the border into Belgium, attacking the city of Liege." Fiona clapped. "Very good, Penny."  Then there was a little kid with a timid voice, who put up his hand. "Yes Peter?" He stood up.  "Miss, I have a fact from world war Two." Fiona nodded. " Go ahead, Peter." The little bit cleared his throat. "Because of world war one, there weren't enough men to volunteer for the second war, so the gover.... government made a process called...con....consc...." Fiona finished his sentence for him. "Conscription? That's ok Peter. That's a hard word to say. Well done. Seems like you all learned something about the wars. We will put our history books away now, the bell for hometime is about to go."  The kids all noisely packed up their things and the bell rang. After about ten minutes and the last student left, a big pink magnolia bloom gently floated onto her desk. Tied to it with a pink ribbon was a note.  "Here's a big blossom To brighten your day. F.  Fiona smiled slightly. All week she was getting these small gestures and it was a nice change for her. No one had gone to such lengths for her before, and she hated to admit it but it was romantic. She also knew that in the late evening he would perch on the tree branch outside her window watching over her. It had made her feel safe somehow. She placed the pink blossom in her satchel bag, grabbed her books and keys and left the classroom, locking the door behind her. On her way home she started to hum. It had been a nice sunny day, with a warm afternoon.  Fiona had gone through the same routine of having dinner with Calistas family, before having a shower and retiring to bed. She rolled over and faced her window, she knew Finn was sitting there and so she drifted off to sleep.  ~present time~ Fiona stiffened as put of the dark Brutus stepped. She flinched as he gently touched her face.  "Oh my love, I have missed you. You must never run away from me again." He then growled and slapped her across the face. Fionas face turned with the force of the slap and she spat extra saliva onto the ground. She recognised that it wasn't Brutus in control. "General. Let me go. I rejected you."  General laughed. "So? I can still have you. I still crave you, even now. You are all I've known. And then you ran away from me with that young bitch."  His words were like venom and Fiona gulped.  "Oh...and don't count on that new boyfriend of your finding you, cause he can't see in the dark and the De'silva wolves wouldn't pass to this land without permission first from the covern ha ha ha. Even if they did, I have a meeting with a witch in the morning for a cloaking potion." Fiona couldn't see it but she felt that he had given a sadistic smile.  She heard a rustling and then a warmth. She realised that General had thrown a course Woolen blanket over her. She quietly mumbled. "thankyou." Again Brutus cruelly laughed. "Ha ha ha. I'd hate for you to be getting sick before the full moon."  Fiona was confused and scared by that comment. From her memory the only thing to happen on a full moon was that he would r**e her. She started to shake, but had to ask. "W...what...happens on the full moon?" General scoffed. "You'll see." Again Fiona was scared. She didn't want to be r***d again, she finally had gotten her freedom and had healed. She liked the pack she was in because everyone treated her with respect and not malicious because she was the 'Alphas mate'. Fiona cried silent tears untill the morning.  She didn't know when she had gone to sleep but she was being shaken awake. When she peeled open her eyes, Carl Stephens stood before her. She screamed. "Get away from me!" Carl snarled. "can't. Alpha ordered me to wake you. He's gone to meet that witch. I have to bring you to meet him." As he tied her wrists she whinced. He then undone the rope from around the tree and hauled her to her feet. She felt a pain run through her arms as he pulled on her.  She stumbled as her feet were bare and cold.  She didn't know how long they walked for, but they eventually came to a clearing. Now that it was day light, Fiona could see clearly the form that was once Alpha Brutus. Although he wore clean clothes his hair was shaggy and he had a beard. Former Beta Stephens wasn't in any better shape either. Both men badly needed a shower. She looked closely at the women that he was meeting with. She looked like she was in her sixties, with greying hair tied into a bunnat the top of her head. She wore a black long skirt, black blouse and leather sandals.  The women looked at her, then back to General. "Remember your promise, you can do whatever to your nephew bit leave my granddaughter alone."  Fiona heard this comment, then it dawned on her and she shouted. "your Persephones grandmother! Why would you help this disgusting excuse for a life!" General growled then stamped over to her and backhanded her across the face again. So now Fiona had bruises on both cheeks. "You! Keep your mouth shut!" He went back to Persephones grandmother. She handed over a small porcelain vile. He thanked her and then she walked away.  "You only have yourself to blame for that." He gently touched her bruised swollen cheek. Fiona pulled her face away from his fingers. He then grabbed her hair in a fist. "From now on, you WILL be quiet, and you WILL behave yourself. Do I make myself clear?" Fiona whimpered, but she spat in his face. General just laughed. He looked at Carl Stephens who brought some tape and put it over her mouth.  Fiona again startes to cry. General picked up one of her tears with his index finger and then licked it.  "Your tears are beautiful." He sickly smiled.  They found a space to make camp. Carl made a fire and they boiled some tea. They mixed in the potion and then both men took a drink of it. They then forced Fiona to drink it. She choked on it but it swallowed most of it. General cooed at her. "Good girl." He brushed his hand down her arm and she suddered in disgust. There was only one more.nighr before the full moon....
