Rosabelle's POV- "How dare you let any other man touch what's mine?! How dare you f**k him and grant his f*****g reward?!" Dargan says in a dangerously low voice while his hand around my throat tightens its grip on me. Is that how low you think of me? "How dare you?! I tried to believe you when you said you didn't have anyone else in your life and now you f**k another man even when you have a husband?!" He growls while I try to force my knees up and knee him where the sun doesn't shine but his quickness defeats mine and he traps my legs between his. "YOU DARE TO SET YOURSELF FREE, HUH?! TELL ME WHERE HE TOUCHED YOU?! I'LL f*****g KILL HIM!" He yells while I struggle to breathe. I feel pressure rising in my whole body, especially at my head and I know I need oxygen more than anything right now. He is killing me! Let me go, Dargan! Hear me once! As he senses that I'm losing my consciousness, he suddenly let's go of me and turns away growling loud. I turn to my side and bring my legs together as I cough hard on the bed while he throws away all the vases and anything on the table. "Dar... Dargan... stop." I say with heavy eyes. Dargan suddenly turns to me and hold my jaw again. "What did you say?! You want me to stop?! What did you think?! I won't know about it?!" He asks as a single tear escapes through the corner of my eye and I myself for crying in front of him. "I didn't do anything." I say through gritted teeth and squeezed jaw. "Don't lie to me, Rosabelle. I hate liars more than anything in my life." "I'm not lying!" I say furiously before holding the fabric covering on his chest. I try to push him away from me but he doesn't even flinch. "Then what the f**k was Roald doing in your chamber this late at night?!" He asks with fire burning in his eyes. "Anythign but f*****g me!" I say and he narrows his eyes at me before throwing me roughly on the bed. I hold my jaw as silent tears slip through my eyes but I hastily wipe them off and stand in front of him. "He came to get his reward. And I gave him." I say and see his jaw clenching. "I gave him the crystal lace he asked me for. He didn't know what else to ask for. And he isn't so cheap to ask me to f**k him!" I say glaring at him before turning to put on my robe but he doesn't let me. I look at him appalled as I see him motioning my neck left and right before checking my arms for any marks. His hands next go to the small knot behind my head and he pull it open making my night wear drop at my feet. His eyes search for any marks on my bare chest before his eyes look down all the while I give him a loathful look. His hand cup my womanhood through the flimsy fabric of my thong and I swallow my pride as my husband checks me. I swear that this is the last time you have gotten the privilege to do so. The next time you doubt me, you can f**k yourself all the way to Hell! His eyes meet mine again, and I feel his anger leaving his body as he breathes heavily and in relief at the same time. I simply on the other hand turn around and walk to the couch naked before pulling on my robe. "I thought—" But I cut him mid-sentense. "Get out of my chamber and never ever dare to enter inside without my permission." I say while tying the knot of my robe with my back still facing him. "Rosabelle—" "I SAID GET OUT!" I yell at him as my face contorts in pain and I feel myself on the verge of crying out loud. No, I won't cry in front of this heartless man! Sensing my displeasure at the moment, he turns to leave before I hear him say. "I apologise for what I did. But you cannot stop me from being here, in you chamber if that's what I want." He says before leaving me. Of course, I cannot stop him. He is stronger than me; stronger than anyone. "Rose!" Nina calls out for me as soon as he goes and runs towards me making me lose myself immediately in her arms. I drop to my knees and she hugs me while soothing me as I let out my anger through tears. I hate you for this, Dargan! Third Person's POV- "Here is the painting you requested, Lady Fredini." The maid comes bringing a big painting in her wide spread hands. She tries to bow at the same time but can't do it properly. "Keep it here and leave!" Gold snaps at her and the maid does her work quickly before she leaves with small yet quick steps. Gold stands with clenched jaw and removes the cover from the painting. She stares at it with hate but the painting stares back at her with a wide smile. "Rosabelle Rosabelle ROSABELLE!" She yells in frustration. "Why did this happen to me?! Why did come in between me and Dargan?! You weren't in the picture and now you are suddenly here living where I should!" She glares at the painting like a stupid person before pulling out a knife plunged in an apple nearby. Gold starts scratching the painting into shreds with two knife all the while cursing Rosabelle for coming in between her and her one true love. "WHY?! YOU TOOK MY POSIOTION, I WAS TO BE HIS WIFE, NO ONE ELSE!" She screams repeatedly scratching the painting before falling on her knees crying hard and hating hard. While Gold cried sitting on the floor, Dargan wandered through the castle until he reached his mother's footsteps. "Dargan? Why are you here? I didn't summon you." She says pulling him inside. "I just wanted to see you." He says with a tired face and walks inside the house with sand floor and plants here and there on the floor. "You seem tired. Confused." She says recognising her son's feelings at once. "I... I blamed her for something she didn't do. I hurt her for something she didn't do." He says and his mother's face turn serious. "Did you apologise?" She asks and fearing his mother would be displeased he admits quickly. "I did." He says only to recieve a completely different reaction. "Why?" His mother asks frowning. "Because it wasn't her fault." "You never apologise. It doesn't matter whose fault it was, she is your wife, she has to understand your temper and things you could do blinded by it. It's alright. Moreover you need to turn the anger into something else, into something fun. Fights between a husband and wife can be solved better than anyone else because they can be close to each other like they can be with no one else. Fight in the bed, and soon it will be all forgotten. It's easy to get forgiveness or end an argument if you know just what to do." She says keeping her hands on his shoulders to make him understand. Dargan looks at her understanding what she meant but he ignores that and rather asks, "But you said never to hurt her." "Because I needed her. We needed her, and now we don't. She isn't what I thought." She says while Dargan looks at her confused. "But we could still need her." She says and he nods. "Don't worry. We'll get what we want." She assures him and he nods again while his mind still plays her teary eyes. "Now, Eleanor told me that you planned a prank with her. Did you remember your old days?" She asks making him sit beside her. "I did, I guess." He answers truthfully before her mother's hand touches his cheek. "I know you did. I know you felt good, but we must remember that the sacrifices you make now are all for a greater and a better cause." She says and he again nods like a baby being taught by his mother. Like an innocent baby agreeing to everything his mother says to him.
