Rory’s POV: I study the papers one of Headmistress Esme’s students provided to me. The student has translated the old prophecy as best as possible for me. The headmistress gave me a long speech about a translation never being good enough. She thinks I should study the ancient language, but that will take too long. I rather have a lousy translation than nothing, and the student volunteered. As I read, my heart keeps breaking for both my Angel and our daughter. In many ways, their lives are similar. Our daughter will grow up in hardship, like her mother. Again I wish I had brought Angel closer to me so she could have had a safe upbringing, but this time I also feel regret for our daughter. If we had read the prophecy before her conception, we might have understood Angel would be kidnapped,
