My heart didn't stop racing fast as I forced a smile onto my face and accepted the handshake that Aiden offered. The moment our hands came in contact, I snatched mine away as if I had been burned and maybe it was because the heat that passed between us was shocking, but it seemed I was the only one affected because Aiden’s smile remained in place and he seemed unaffected.
