Packing up

        Kathy ran back to her hotel room and slammed the door behind her. Leaning her body against the wall, Kathy let go of the tears she was trying to hold back after leaving Miles. She can bear the pain of losing her liberty to be loved by someone for the people she cared for, but the insult from the only person she loved was too much for her to take in. She wiped her tears away. This was too many tears for a person who doesn’t respect her feelings, she thought.         She has started packing her stuff.  It was past midday. She needed to leave this place soon. Perhaps she could book an early flight to New York. The thoughts of being with Miles in one space boiled her blood and creeped her out.         She was about to check the flights available when her phone rang. It was Belinda.
