Morning, and I was up before the sun. It was cold and perfect for the mood I was in.
I decided, as I could not sleep, I would go out and run the boarders.
This was not a task I had to do, but I needed to be out and about at the moment. For some reason, I could not sleep.
The warriors were keen to get going and very excited that I was going to be joining them on the patrol and the patrol consisted of twenty men. They were lively and joking around, having me on the patrol made the patrol go quicker, or so I am told, though I don't see how, a four-hour run around this part of the perimeter, we don't run it any quicker. If anything, we take longer as I like to leave my scent on the border every now and then and that can slow us down.
