One of the perks of being Aurora Fisher is, you get to enjoy the morning sun, by sitting on the pool chair and sipping a cold glass of red wine.
Hmm, I can get used to this.
The blue waters, the cool atmosphere and the scenery all complimenting one another, as the feeling of being relaxed sets in, up until jen steps in.
"Tsk tsk tsk... How can you be so selfish enjoying all these by yourself." I raise the shades in my eyes giving Jen a sly look.
"I asked you to come join me." I tell her as a matter of fact, while jen only rolls her eyes making me chuckle. " How's your temple?" I become serious asking her.
"Its fine, I survived." Jen's responds, while I only nod my head in conclusion that this is no place to discuss any matter of such. "Also, Romeo is here." Jen tells me as I remove the shades from my eyes properly.
"Here? When did he arrive?" I ask her.
"Not quite long, he's checking up on Felicity." She informs me. "Do you want to change out of that?" Jen asks me noticing the black bikini I have on.
"No, I think I'm fine this way and I think I'm just beginning to enjoy the sun." I tell jen slyly while she only gives me an amused smile.
"Okay, anything the boss says." She chuckles lightly while I do the same. If I want to get Romeo, I'll need something to attract him better, and what not, with Aurora Fisher in a bikini.
"Well well, I hope I'm not intruding in such happy moments?" At the voice of the person, Jen briskly retracts her demeanor as she becomes more professional, that is, more stern looking.
I watch Romeo pass by Jen, where as she only acknowledges him by passing him a nod, while he returns it. Romeo looking cheerful this morning, as a huge smile still stays on his lips.
"Someone looks cheerful." I stare at Romeo who's gaze is nothing away from me.
"And someone seems to be enjoying all these beauty alone," Romeo says as at his words I glance at jen giving me an eyebrow, saying she said the same thing.
I chuckle lightly at the both of them, as Jen takes that as her cue to leave. "It seems you and Skylar are starting to have the same thoughts." I turn back to Romeo.
"I see I'm not the only one who must have envisaged this." Romeo responds while my gaze goes away from him.
"Hmm." Is all my response feeling the tanning of my skin by the sun.
"You and your bodyguard seem to have a very familiar relationship," Romeo states as that gets my attention and I'm brought to look at him.
"Of course, because I trust her." I inform him, not knowing if he does have an unhidden meaning behind his statement.
"I can see that, but she does look scary to me," Romeo says with a laugh while I stare at him with smirk.
"Well I can ask her to smile just once at you." I say making Romeo chuckle the more as at the moment, I find that particular character bewitching.
Romeo staring at me longer than expected, whilst my own gaze doesn't falter. "Come with me, I want to show you something." Romeo says out of the blue.
"And where could that be?" I ask him.
"Why don't you follow me and see," Romeo replies while I catch his gaze move to my cleavage.
Men!
"How certain am I if I go with you, that you're not going to harm me?" I adjust my gaze on Romeo.
"Ouch Aurora, that hurts. Do you think I'm that kind of a man?" Romeo places a hand on his chest.
"Well Romeo, I do not know what kind of a man you are, so I can not say." I tell him in all truthfulness.
"Yet. You do not know me well yet, but you would. And I'm sure you'll get to fall in love with this man in front of you when you do." Romeo returns with his smirk.
"Oh is that pride I see there?" I chuckle lightly.
"Not at all, just confidence that it is." He says making me roll my eyes.
"Don't get ahead of yourself boy, I'm not an easy cake, you're gonna have to try really hard." I say where as he give me a nod.
"That I know of Aurora." My name drapes off his lips again making me almost close my eyes in pleasure. "So, I haven't gotten a response from you yet." Romeo says.
"Alright, just know if anything happens to me, Skyler is coming for you, trust me." I tell him.
"Yes ma'am." Romeo replies making me chuckle.
I take that as my cue to get up, when Romeo extends his hand for me to take. My gaze moves from his hand he's extending, up to his eyes when I smile lightly at his gesture which I do not know his intentions of. So as not to get ahead of myself, I decline his request, taking him by surprise, nevertheless, I see that seems to please him the more.
I warp the blue towel I'm with around my body, before walking out the pool with Romeo behind me.
------------
Romeo parks the blue Ferrari he's driving by a five storey building named, Tesco group. A group I've come to know about for carrying out projects when it comes to urban development.
I get down from the car after Romeo, as he waits for me to catch up with him. "You didn't tell me we were coming for a business deal, I would worn my work outfit." I tell him, gesturing to the baggy Gucci pants, Hermes hoodie and Prada boots I'm wearing.
"Its not a business deal sweetheart, also you look perfect." Romeo tells me, while I stare at him with a raised eyebrow due to the nickname. I want to say something regarding it, but Romeo doesn't give me the chance as he gives me a seductive smile before walking further.
"Good day Mr king." People greet Romeo as we step into the building, where as, Romeo passes them a smile. We walk further going into the elevator, with him clicking on the highest floor.
"I hate the suspense Romeo, I'm not one to wait." I tell Romeo as we stay in the elevator.
"Not too long now sweetheart." He calls me by the name again and I turn to him fully.
"And what's with the nickname?" I can't help but ask.
"What? You don't like it?" He asks while we exit the elevator before getting into another at the highest floor. This time, as we get into the elevator, Romeo takes the underground button which was not in the previous elevator.
"What? Do I look like one of your hook ups that you forget their name?" I ask Romeo making him chuckle loudly, clearly taking me by surprise.
"No sweetheart, because I don't call them sweetheart." He tells me either to make me feel happy, that I do not know nor care.
The elevator comes to a stop, as we are brought to a more secure and isolated environment in the building. "Where is this place?" I ask Romeo as my tone changes. Before Romeo can give a reply I hear the screams of someone, as his voice rings through the room.
I stop in my tracks, wanting to bring out my gun, while giving Romeo a hard glare. "Relax sweetheart. Come with me." He tells me, but I still stare at him with doubt, nevertheless follow.
As we walk to the source of the screams, I'm met with two men tied to a chair, as wires are placed on their body and then connected to a water in a bucket, then connected to a switch.
"Mr king." The two men in suit torturing the men in a chair, acknowledges Romeo's presence as I watch his gaze turn hard while looking at his captives.
"What is this Romeo? Why did you bring me here?" I ask him stern looking.
"These are the men Aurora responsible for the bullet in your shoulder." Romeo tells me and soon I recall back to the party, some weeks ago.
"Let me tell you a story sweetheart," Romeo tells me while walking round the two men in suits, before taking the switch from one of their hands and turning it on.
Their screams fill the room as staring at them suffer like this stirs up the anger in me towards Romeo, but I retain my emotions.
"While I was away, I had some business with a gang back in the country of Gehenna, where I met this drug lord and his second in command. I had a business with them, where as we were supposed to send a shipment of nicotine to them, worth fifty million, which we did.
Apparently, on its way there the shipment got stolen, by a rival group which we haven't been able to get a hold of and are at war with. I explained to these men here of the situation and asked for time to get it arranged again, yet these two men thought I stabbed them in the back, and came for revenge by sabotaging my sisters party, and getting her on a bed with no evidence of when she would wake yet, shooting you, and thinking they could walk freely." Romeo explains to me as I listen carefully to him.
He turns to the older guy tied to a chair, as his fingers grip his chin painfully, and he let's out a wince. "So tell me Aurora if you were in my shoes what would you have done?" Romeo turns to me still with fingers digging into the guys skin.
I watch this side of Romeo, that I didn't realize I would ever see but knew existed, as the fear of ever letting my secret get exposed scares me.
"I probably would do the same." I speak not wanting to sound soft. "But definitely in other ways." I add making Romeo smile lightly at me.
"Since we're already here why don't you give this men a taste of who they messed with." Romeo says and I swallow a gulp quietly.
"No Romeo, this is your business, I'm not getting my hands dirty for you." I tell him trying to feign confidence.
"Yet, didn't you say you wanted to partner with us and want our trust?" Romeo asks me while I only stare at him hardly.
"Let's see what balls it is you said you had." Romeo tells me with a smirk, where as my anger only levels up.
I could walk out and never gain Romeo's trust, or I could do this and end up having this men's life in my hands, but neither sounds befitting.
Before I can take any decision, the ringing of my phone breaks up the atmosphere, as I see its jen calling.
"Skylar?" I speak her false name wanting her to know I'm not alone.
"Felicity is awake." Jen tells me from the phone, as my eyes widen and my heart relaxes of finding a way out of this.
"Felicity is awake Romeo."
