Hazel I can never unsee that. I don’t know if I am in shock or in denial. My jeff with his c**k buried inside another woman. Sweating, panting, moaning with his face shoved in her neck and her on his lap bouncing up and down on him, in our bed no less. I’m racing down the steps with tears running down my face. I make it to the end of the staircase, and I feel someone grab me by the elbow. I swing around to see who it is, and I’m face to face with a panting Jeff. Pants undone, no shoes or shirt. His mouth is gaping like a fish out of water. I yank my elbow back from his grip. “don’t touch me!” I yelled at him. “Babe please let me explain. I swear it isn’t what it looks like.” He pleads. I take a step back in disbelief as to what I am hearing right now. Music pounding in my head so loud I can feel my eardrums vibrating. I can feel the tears coming down my face, but I can’t hear my sobs over the music. “Are you kidding me? Not what it looks like, because it sure as s**t looked like you were f*****g someone else in our bed, in our house!” I exclaim. “No, shit..Fuck, okay I know it looks bad.” He said as he rubs a hand down his face. You know, I used to think he was the most handsome man I had ever seen. With his blonde hair and green eyes. I used to think the cleft on his chin was one of the most prominent features on his face. Now, well now I just want to hit him in the face with a baseball bat and never see him again in my life. My heart fuckin hurts and I haven’t felt this pain in a long time. he was my high school sweetheart. We did college together until he dropped out, then we bought this house. Well, I bought the house because his credit has been so bad from the sudden change of mind in his education that it affected him. I catch movement in the corner of my eye, and it looks like someone is inching closer to us, the rest of the world is oblivious to our fight. Only caring about snorting the powder on the table, drinking the alcohol from their cups, and wasting away the night in an altered state of mind. Jeff tries to grab my hand pleading with me. “Sweetie please let me explain. I had the whole night planned for us. You were going to come home, I was going to tell you the good news, then we were going to celebrate. I was going to do that thing you like; you know. That thing with my tongue.” I’m going to throw up. My hand instantly goes to my stomach as it churns, and I’m reminded of the life that I have in there. The life we created. I haven’t even gotten the chance to tell him yet, but right now I don’t even want to tell him. He deserves no part of this life with me that I am creating. “Sorry I’m getting this backwards then. You wanted me to come home and tell me good news and relax in bliss and pleasure, then why is the house full of people, alcohol, and drugs all while you are upstairs having s*x with someone who is not me?” I say to him. His level of audacity at this moment clearly deserves him an award for the most delusional man on the planet. “No, I wanted all of that but then my new friends wanted to celebrate the news and then one thing led to another, and I was upstairs. Honeybear please it looks bad but let me fix this, okay?” he says. “I got a new job today that was the news. There is this guy in town, and I make deliveries for him, and it pays such good money we would be set honey you wouldn’t have to worry about anything. You can quit your job with those brats, and we could possibly work together.” He looks at me with pleading eyes. I know I didn’t hear what I thought I just heard. Is this the freaking twilight zone? I yank my hand back from his grasp and before I know I slap him, hard, across the face. This man doesn’t deserve me or my time. He looks back at me in disbelief as his hand goes to his cheek. What the hell did he think would happen I would go to my knees for him, accept his apology while his d**k is still wet from God knows who from upstairs. She is probably still there right now as we speak. He grabs my arm hard, hard enough to bruise but before he can say anything a mountain of a man steps in between us. I don’t see much all I see is his back. Theres a design of a 3 headed dog snarling with blood all over its mouth on the back of his leather vest thingy. It reads Hellhound MC. I’m guessing he is one of Jeffs friends from the new job. “Let go of her f*****g arm or lose the hand motherfucker.” The stranger says in a deep voice. It’s unlike anything I’ve heard. Octaves deeper than Jeffs voice. It’s like gravel and silk. It vibrates through me. “This is between me and my fiancé.” Jeff snarls back but there is no bite in his tone or his words. Kind of seems like a kitten compared to a lion. An Alpha compared to a beggar. “You have 3 more seconds to remove your hand, or your arm is coming with that hand also.” He says so calmly but it is laced with malice. This man is oozing danger and confidence. I look up and he towers over me. there is no way that man is under 6 feet tall, no way in hell. Jeff drops my hand and tries to peak around the man to see me, but he is so broad I am hidden well. This is comforting. I feel a sense of safety here in his presence just standing here behind him letting him handle Jeff. I feel burdens being released from my shoulders and I don’t even know his name, I don’t even know what he looks like. The man in question turns his head slightly to me and I see his bright clear blue eyes. His left eye has a scar over it, from his hairline to his jaw. He has dark brown hair that goes to just below his shoulders, but he has a streak of white exactly where his scar meets his hair line. His jaw is sharp, his features rugged. I have to tip my head back to look at him fully due to his height. “Is he bothering you ma?” he asks me. I swear to God my knees almost buckle. I can’t speak, all I can do is stare at him. so, I shake my head yes. His eyes drop lower scanning my body and I feel the trace of his eyes down my body as if he was touching me himself. I am burning up. this man is danger wrapped in a god like package. There is absolutely no way he is real. I must have fallen down the stairs, broken my neck and died because this can’t be real. His gaze lingers on my hand that is placed on my stomach, his eyes snap back to meet mine and it’s like he’s letting me know he knows. Like he can sense the life in my belly. His head snaps back to Jeff and I swear to all that is holy this man growls. It’s in his chest, his throat, I can see the ripple of muscle in his back flex, like he is restraining himself physically and I feel heat between my legs. I don’t know this man. I’ve never met this man in my life but here he is setting fire to a world inside of my head that has been locked. He steps to my side and his arms go around me. His very large, very warm hand goes to my waist, and he tugs me into him. right under his arm and I try not to notice how well I fit next to him. He is radiating heat. I turn slightly to look up at him and I catch a whiff of his scent. My mouth drools. He smells like leather, spice, and man. I look into his eyes, and he winks at me. oh no, what is he doing? “I see you told him about me then, huh ma?” he asks me with a smug ass grin on his face as he turns his head to look back at Jeff, who is still gaping like a fish. Face red from anger. “What the f**k?” jeff yells “you know this f*****g prick?” he asks me. “Oh, come on now don’t be like that.” The man says to me. “If I knew he’d be such a p***y we could have done this a different way. Perhaps softer so we didn’t hurt his little feelings” The man laughs. His hand tightens on my waist and my brain short circuits. That’s its death by desire this man is a walking dream and all I can do is stand here and remind myself to breath because clearly, I’ve forgotten. “You cheated on me?” Jeff screams “you were so upset because of what you saw upstairs but the whole time you’ve been f*****g this low life. You are nothing but a f*****g nasty, fat w***e!” Jeff yells. “I’d be careful how you talk to the mother of my child, or I’ll make you eat your f*****g teeth.” The man says deeply, narrowing his eyes on Jeff. To stunned to say much more Jeff looks at me with fury in his eyes “are you serious? You’re pregnant?” he asks me lowly. Almost low enough I can’t hear him. “Yeah man, she was coming home to tell you and to tell you to get out of the f*****g house but looks like you already had one foot out the door. Have your s**t gone by 8am and there won’t be a problem here.” He states. His tone of voice leaves no room for discussion. He turns to me, leans down, and places a kiss on my lips. I instantly close my eyes and my hand goes to his jaw. Like we had done this a thousand times. It felt right, it left like coming home when you were wandering around lost and I don’t even know his name still, damn it. “Let’s get you some dinner ma and ill rub your feet for you after a nice hot bath. Maybe I’ll lick your p***y for you just the way you like, if you’re a good girl for daddy.” He says to me with a wink, and I die. Quite literally there is no air going into my lungs. He winks at me and turns to leave but Jeff grabs his leather vest and he stops. “No, you need explain yourself to me right f*****g now!” jeff screams. I look up and I see the muscles in the man’s jaw flex. He turns to Jeff and with one smooth quick jab he punches Jeff in the nose. Blood poured from his face instantly, like a flood gate had been opened. Jeff grabs his nose and curses. The blonde woman from upstairs comes to his side immediately from wherever she had been. “Oh my god, baby, are you okay?” she coos over him. I look to the giant man beside me, noticing he never took his hand off my body. The only thing different is that his hand is now on my stomach protectively just in case something happens. He had shifted his hand, and I didn’t even notice. He grabs my hand and interlaces our fingers. “8 am, I don’t think you want to see what happens if your still here at 8:01 my man.” He smirks and my god I can feel myself throbbing between my legs. He winks then we are out the door and down the sidewalk in the blink of an eye. We make it to a motorcycle that I had I noticed on my way inside the house. He swings his massive leg over and motions for me to get on behind him. I just look at him. I think I might be in shock or something. “What are we doing?” I ask in a quiet voice. I have no idea what happened. I feel like I’ll wake up and this will all be a dream. “Get on ma. We are going to get you something to eat and then you can tell me what happened.” He says to me as he looks me in the eyes. This man is gorgeous and deadly. “I don’t know you. I don’t even know your name.” I say to him. “Names wolf. See now you know me.” He winks at me. “Now get on so I can feed you and that baby, f**k knows that douche is doing a poor ass job of taking care of you.” He says to me. I don’t know why I do it, but I get on. I’m being compelled, this is witchcraft or something equally deceitful. “Wrap your arms around me and don’t let go.” He says in that deep growl of his. I wrap my arms around him as best as I can and my hands splay across his abs. Jesus, this man is made of stone. I can feel the ridges of muscle under his shirt. He is muscle and heat and that smell that is coming off him. I lean my head forehead against his back and mumble to myself “you’re the devil I can feel it.” He must hear me because he laughs deeply in his chest, and it rumbles against me. “No ma, I’m Wolf. Lucifer is a b***h compared to me.” he says as he hits the gas throttle on his bike, and we take off down the road. I’m so f****d.
