We got to the hospital in record time. We parked in the parking lot and made our way inside. On the way in we saw Lucifers massive bike parked right by the door. It looked like he almost drove the thing inside the building, remembering the way he stormed out of the building earlier I don’t doubt that he would have done just that.
“Fuck.” Was all Wolf said and he picked up his pace. I had short legs, and I was almost running at this point, his hand was glued to mine practically, so I didn’t have much of a choice.
We made it to the nurses’ station, and they informed us that Jenna was being held on the third floor in the critical unit. The look Wolf and I exchanged said it all. It was going to be bad, and we had made the right call to come here instead of the diner.
