I didn’t want to overwhelm Jamie, so I booked us commercial flight plane tickets. Still in the first class of course. I decided different rooms would also be best since we are still on shaky grounds. I bet she’ll be more comfortable that way.
Normally Michelle would be dealing with these details, but I didn’t want her sticking her nose in this trip. Not this time.
I had a big surprise for Jamie and I didn’t want her finding out ahead of time. I wasn’t taking any risks.
I picked her up at her house and headed off to the airport. Matt didn’t really like the idea of me traveling without the normal entourage, but flying commercial and under my last name seemed to be all the cover-up I needed. I didn’t need to stress Jamie out further with all the guys tailing me everywhere.
