“We can’t save our friends because we’re running out of fuel and gas for the flamethrowers,” Jackson, one of the hunters who had contacted the association for assistance, explained. “Bullets and arrows didn’t work on these plants, and we couldn’t utilize our swords and spears because those mutated plants were too ferocious. They were also able to regenerate any parts that we managed to cut off.”
