Chapter 11Chase opened his eyes. He must have fallen asleep while keeping Simon company. He darted his eyes around the room, and he realized that Mason, Troy, and Brody weren’t around. Then he heard a slight grunting noise coming from Simon, and he hastily glanced at his boyfriend. He was relieved when Simon slowly opened his eyes.
“Welcome back to the land of the living, baby.”
Simon squinted as if he was attempting to adjust his sight or something. “Hey.”
His voice sounded slightly hoarse. Chase quickly grabbed a bottle of mineral water from the top of the small refrigerator in the bedroom. Then he helped Simon to sit up, and he insisted on holding the bottle while his boyfriend was taking tiny sips of the water.
