Chapter 4Unlike Brody and Troy, both of whom enjoyed sleeping in, Mason preferred to wake up early and take care of his morning ablutions. Then he would go down to the kitchen on the first floor to prepare breakfast. Brody and Troy would usually get up and come downstairs just as Mason was about done with the food. For the most part, Mason would spend a quiet morning all by himself. Hence, he was surprised when he reached the bottom step and noticed Simon sitting on the couch in the living room. Fortunately, he had put on his shirt and jeans before getting out from the bedroom. Simon was similarly attired.
