Chap-7

"You are looking so beautiful dear." Bella said, putting her hands on my shoulder.

"Thank you. You too." I said, looking back at her through the mirror, in front of me.

Today I was being introduced to the pack as Luna. Preparations were made. Jade and Bella helped me getting dressed up for this event.

My dress was glittery sliver, that reached below my knees. My long black hair were curled.

We heard a knock and Caleb walked in the room. Silver suit with a violet blue tie. Fitting him like his second skin. He looked perfect. My mate was really something.

Bella and jade left the room. Caleb came towards me, I stood up from the seat I was sitting on.

"You are looking magnificent. " He said, taking a curl of hair in his hand and curled around his finger and then releasing it. The curl jumped up and down for a while then settled down.

"Thank you. You are looking handsome." I complimented. He smiled in return.

He took out a black box from his pocket, opened it and gave it to me.

I grabbed it from his out stretched hand and looked inside it. I saw a beautiful bracelet made of violet blue stones.

"its so beautiful." I said, examining the stones. They shone in the light.

He took the bracelet out of my hand, grabbed my right hand with his other hand and clasped it on my wrist.

I put my hands on either side of his face. Kissed both of his cheeks. I was about to pull away, when he pulled me closer. My hands on his back, his hands on my waist. He brought his face closer to mine. His hot breath fanning my face. I shivered under his breath. He was looking at me intensity. His blue eyes were now a deeper shade of blue. My lips parted on their own as he got closer. Our lips were centimeter apart. I wanted to close the distance but I wanted him to do this. His soft lips made contact with mine. So soft, so kissable. I was about to kiss him back, when he pulled away.

Just a peck!?

I growled with frustration, in my mind.

"Come on. Everybody is waiting for us." he said, taking my hand in his hand. His hand was larger than mine, my hand was engulfed by his large ones. I glared at his head for not kissing me.

We moved down the stairs, like a married couple and guests waiting for the couple downstairs. Everyone's attention was towards us. Especially on me. We reached at the heart of the hall. Where stage was built. The decoration done was very good.

"Every one, today this celebration is held in the honour of my mate. Your Luna." Rounds of cheers rung from the hall.

"This is Leah Ethan, from Snow pack. Welcome her in our Moon pack with kindness. Treat her with respect. Any disrespect or objection against her being the Luna, will have its consequences. " Caleb's voice boomed in the silent room.

"Do you want to say something?" He asked me.

"No. What you said is enough." I smiled at him. He nodded

"Enjoy the party." as soon as words left his mouth, roars of cheers rung from every corner of the hall.

Pack members came, congratulated us and wished us good luck in the future. Everyone was very nice here. Caleb was talking to one of his warrior. I was standing beside him, bored. I was looking around the hall. I saw the same girl, who pounced at Caleb, earlier.

"Caleb." I nudged him slightly.

"Hmm." he said, turning to look at me.

"I will be here in a second. Okay."

"But don't get lost." He told me like I was a kid. I rolled my eyes.

I made my way towards her. She was sitting with a woman and a man, which seemed to be her parents.

"Good evening." I said to them, as I reached at their place.

They stood up from their seats.

"Luna." they bowed.

"Please don't bow." I requested.

They were looking scared. Like I am here to punish them or something.

"Is everything alright?" I asked them.

"N-no." the woman said

"I am sorry, If I am making you uncomfortable. I just came here to apologize to her." I said, pointing towards the girl, who was already looking at me with a scared look in her eyes.

"I got jealous and angry at her, when she hugged Caleb. Just like any other female wolves possessive about their mates, I got possessive too. So I said some thing's to her in anger, so I wanted to apologize for it. I am Sorry." I said, feeling guilty.

"Its okay Luna. It was her fault. She shouldn't have hugged Alpha. It was inappropriate. She is just abn- " the girls dad said, I cut him off.

"Its okay. Its not her fault either. I know about her, Caleb told me. " I don't want him to say abnormal again and again to her daughter. It must have cause pain to him every time he says that or he sees her in that condition.

"Thank you, Luna." He gave me a grateful smile.

"You don't need to say thank you. Its my duty to look after my pack." they nodded.

I walked back to Caleb, who was standing a bit close to where I was standing. There were different emotions in his eyes.

Proud, love.

He took my hand and lead me outside in the chilly night.

"Caleb. Is everything alright?" I asked him, confused.

He didn't reply, just continue to stare at me with a desperate look, which creeped me out.

"Caleb? What's wrong?" I moved slowly towards him.

He grabbed me suddenly, making me gasp in surprise. I was about to ask him what was he doing. But he spoke before I could utter a single word.

"You are beautiful from inside and outside. " With this he kissed me deeply.

Lips against lips.

Tongue fighting against tongue.

I was in heaven. I ran my fingers in his blonde hair. So soft, like I imagined them to be. I tugged at them slightly making him groan in pleasure. My back made contact with the tree trunk. We broke apart to breath. My hands on his chest, his heart beating fast under my palm, which was resting over his heart. His arms wrapped around me.

We continued to look in each others eyes. No words were exchanged between us. Just enjoying the presence of each other.

"I wanted you to kiss me, from I don't know how long." I said, he smiled down at me. I blushed.

He kissed me again, but this time with passion, love and care. He kissed me like I was made of glass that would break down if he kissed me harder. I was falling fast for him. He pulled away. He moved my hair back which came forward on my face.

"Lets get inside." his voice husky, which turned me on. I nodded. When we reached the door, he pecked me once and got inside.

"Do you like it here?" Jade asked, taking a sip of her drink.

"Yes. Everyone is very good here. I am comfortable here." I took a sip of my own drink.

We- family members , were sitting on a large dinning table, eating dinner. Caleb was talking to his beta and third in command. In between talks, made eye contact with me.

"You must be tired." she said.

"Yes. Like hell." I yawned. She chuckled.

"Why don't you guys go home? Everyone is leaving." she said,. I nodded.

"Caleb should we go home?" I said, walking to him.

"Sure." he stood up, shaking hands with his beta and all. He kissed his mothers and sisters cheeks. I waved at them. He took my hand in his. We walked through the chilly night, towards our house. I was thinking of our heated moment, when he intertwined our fingers. I looked at him, he was smiling at me. I smiled back and rested my head on his shoulder as we continue to walk. Together in each others arms we reached our home.
