Kisses

I used to think that finding the right one was about the man having a list of certain qualities. If he has them, we'd be compatible and happy. Sort of a checkmark system that was a complete failure. But I found out that a healthy relationship isn't so much about sense of humor or intelligence or attractive. It's about avoiding partners with harmful traits and personality types. And then it's about being with a good person. A good person on his own, and a good person with you. Where the space between you feels uncomplicated and happy. A good relationship is where things just work. They work because, whatever the list of qualities, whatever the reason, you happen to be really, really good together.

"You worry too much." Inabot ni Kimy ang mukha ni Robert saka masuyong hinaplos. "You cared?"

" Of course, l am. I will always care for you, even if we’re not together and even if we’re far, far away from each other." Maagap na hinawakan nitong kamay nya saka hinalikan.

"Okay nako, so no worries. chill ka lang."

"Tsk! Why you didn't tell me that you weren't riding a ferry? I would have picked you up on the chopper."

Napangiti na lang sya at sinulyapan si Meran na kausap si doctor Axel, ang tumulong sa kanila nung hinimatay sya kahapon.

"By the way sweetie, how many days you'll stay here with me?"

Ilang days nga ba sila pwedeng manatili dito sa bahay ni Robert? Kung sya wala namang problema kahit na magtagal pa sya, kaso si Meran malamang gusto na nitong umuwi.

"I'll think about it first, okay?"

"Oh yeah! sure, I'm just here for you, I promise hmm.. I love you sweetie." Hinalikan sya nito sa labi.

'Abah! Kaswerte ko naman talaga sa lalaking ituuu... Hayy.. Thank you Lord!'

"Bff, ahm... may sasabihin sana ako sayo, saglit lang naman! pwede?"

Nilingon nya si Meran na tila nahihiyang tumingin sa kanya kaya sya ng humila sa kamay nito saka pinisil yun para marelax naman ito.

"Sige na! Sumama kana kay Doc Axel, ok lang ako dito.. Saka mag enjoy ka naman paminsan minsan para magka love life ka naman bff."

"Love life agad? sira ka talaga! Magdi dinner lang naman kami uy! nakakahiyang tumanggi kasi remember syang tumulong satin diba?"

Natatawang tinulak tulak nya pa si Meran. "Oo na, sige na, umalis na kayo.. dami mo pang sinasabi dyan eh ramdam ko namang type mo na si Doc heart.. Haha... Aray!'

"Umm.. Kainis ka! Bahala kana nga sa buhay mo." Matapos hilahin ni Meran ang buhok nya, malalaki ang hakbang nitong nilapitan si Axel at sabay na lumabas ng pinto. Nakita nya pang pagkaway ng binatang doctor sa kanilang dalawa ni Robert bago ito tuluyang lumabas ng pintuan.

"They look good together, right sweetheart?" Nakangiting hinawakan nyang kamay ni Robert.

"Yeah! Like us.." Hinalikan na naman ni Robert ang kanyang kamay. "I want to fall in love with you deeply. Not because I find you extremely beautiful. it’s because your mind is attractive. the way you think makes you attractive. the way you talk. the way you see things. the way you describe things. the way you talk. the way you laugh. the way you smile. it’s all these little things about you. I know not everyone thinks the same way about you but I just wanna know how it is to be around you. to lay next to you. to hear you talk. to hear you breath. to hear your heartbeat. I just wanna be around you and talk about everything. about the moon and the stars. about politics. about food. about everything you’re interested in. I want to get to know you. I want to fall in love with you. harder"

Iniyakap nyang dalawang braso sa leeg ng kasintahan. Saka ikiniskis nyang ilong sa ilong nito.. Hinalikan nyang mapula nitong labi saka sinabing...

"I got attached to you because you got me. You understood me on levels other people never could. You cared for me. You saw my scars and you kissed them. Dinilaan nyang labi ng binata saka bahagyang kinagat bago idinistansyang kanyang mukha.

"Aggressive.. Ohh.. I like that, hmm.." Nangiti na lang sya ng biglang sinunggaban ni Robert ang labi nya.. Hindi sya tinantanan nito hanggang sa pareho na silang hinihingal at kelangan ng sumagap ng hangin dahilan kaya napabitaw sila sa isa't isa. Pareho pa silang napatawa ng magkatinginan.

"What now?" Nakataas ang kilay na sabi nya sa kasintahang may pilyong ngiti sa labi.

"Ok! Let's start with Eskimo Kisses. We’ll gonna press the tip of our nose against one another. Isn’t that cute? It’s when I couldn’t say anything but look at your wonderful eyes and I just wanna come near you and touch your nose with mine. That little tickling sensation feels really weird because it brings large feelings through my veins. It may seem a little teasing but it’s not. It’s just that I couldn’t control myself not to kiss yet I’m contented with just rubbing my nose into yours. I just love the way you smile like you find it sweet and cute too. I just love the way our faces are so close with each other, our lips an inch away from one another and our eyes locked with each other. It just look so amazingly sweet."

"Uhumm.. and then?..." Mabilis nyang hinalikan ang labi ni Robert na napadaing na lang sa mga ginagawa nya dito.

When you talk, I can’t control my eyes to look at your lips and find myself smiling then kiss you surprisingly. "Hmmm.." Hinalikan na naman nya ito, pero sa leeg na at hindi sa labi. Natawa sya ng marinig ang paghinga ng malalim ni Robert.

Di nya napigilang yakapin ang binata. "Mahal na mahal kita Mr. Robert Viette."

"Oh really?" Hinila nya papasok ng kwarto si Robert. Pagkapasok na pagkapasok pa lang nilang dalawa itinulak nya kaagad sa kama ang kasintahang tawa lang ng tawa.

"Hurry up! Sweetie, undress me!.." Namumungay ng mga mata ni Robert habang titig na titig sa kanya.

"Later Sweetheart, ill seduce you first.. Hmm!" Gumapang sya sa nakahilatang binata. Napaungol na lang ito ng mag umpisang lumikot ang kanyang mga kamay..

'Oh, ang saya nito.. mas masarap talaga pag totoo.. Ibang iba kapag sa phone at video lang namin ginagawa ito.. Ngayon magpapakasawa talaga ako.. hindi lang ikapitong langit ang aakyatin namin kundi sampo! harharhar..'
