Be cool, be cool. I chanted to myself as I approached the picnic table outside that Riley, Kael, Brent, Claudia and of course, Ellora was seated at while they ate their lunch. I tried desperately not to drop the plate and tin of coke I was carrying.
“Hey Jareth,” Riley spotted me first and greeted me with a warm, inviting smile. Thank you, Riley.
“Hi guys,” I gave them my best smile and quickly evaluated the seating situation and of course, the only available spot was next to Ellora. Tonight, was the party and although Ellora hadn’t been cold towards me, we still hadn’t spoken yet. I placed my plate and coke down before sliding into the seat.
