Lily downloaded John Mann’s contact details at the House of Commons to her Smartphone and went to work. At eleven o’clock, in her tea break, she phoned the number to ask for an interview, saying that she was a freelance Thai journalist, when she was asked for her credentials. After a few moments wait, she was told that it would be inappropriate for Mr. Mann to talk to her on this matter because it was the subject of a police enquiry.
