My mother also told me not to settle for less. She told me that if a person doesn’t treat me right, then I should just leave them and wait till I found someone better. This tip has helped me avoid dating because I was always looking for the person who would love me in the way that I deserved.

Just by looking at Brody’s eyes, I realized that he is the one for me. I don’t know how, but I could feel it. The feeling is really hard to miss.

I know that he can be the CEO of this company and I would just be a cleaner, but that is not enough reason to say that the two of us would never be together. My mum always told me that love would make people cross bridges and jump a cliff for each other. This is what will happen to me and Brody. We will fall in love despite the status. Love goes above all those things. If love can make a president fall for a peasant, then what about us? We are no exception. Plus, I am not just a cleaner. I am a graduate with a degree of international relation. I can’t say that right now because my previous employer ensured that. They ruined my life, literally.

Anyway, there is always something good out of every situation. Maybe I was fired so that I could meet the love of my life, Brody.

“Why are you staring at me like that?” Brody yelled at me, faltering me from my own thoughts.

“I am so sorry sir,” I pleaded.

“Should I just throw him out? This guy looks like someone who can’t be trusted,” Alex told Brody.

“Actually, I want to talk to you, only you sir,” I told Brody without caring about Alex’s reaction.

“Sir, I can’t trust this guy. Just say something and I am going to kick him out right away,” Alex begged Brody.

“Leave us Alex,” Brody ruled in my favor and I could feel sweet tingles of excitement flowing in my system.

“Sir,” Alex tried to counter but Brody didn’t give him a chance.

“I have said, leave!” He repeated the command.

“Yes sir!” Alex mumbled before leaving the two of us.

“First of all, have a seat. Second, I want you to tell me something,” Brody requested.

“What is it sir?” I asked as I looked at his Rolex watch. Wow, everything about him screams expensive. His suit, his shoes and lastly his perfume which makes me go gaga.

Wow!

“Ryan, what is it with you? There is something about you Ryan. I have never ever done this with anyone. I never meet people without an appointment. I don’t listen to bullshit. Tell me Ryan, what is it with you?” Brody asked as he paced around the room.

“Maybe you just like me,” I said this and regretted it immediately once he reacted.

“Are you kidding me? Do you think that I am some kind of fool, to like someone? I have never liked someone in my entire life. I don’t have time for that,” He countered.

“Love is beautiful sir,” I insisted.

“Just shut up. Okay, tell me, how can I bring the High End Hotel down? If you tell me, I am definitely going to give you anything that you want in return.” He promised.
