*Through Sage's Eyes*
I ran through the woods. Anger coursed through me. Jasmine wanted to take over but I fought to keep control. I couldn’t keep losing it like this.
These kinds of feelings called for boxing and bloody knuckles but when I stopped running I realized I had ended up at the waterfall. Weird.
I knelt to wash the blood and wall plaster off my hand. The sun was still warm and the water was cold but not frigid.
Without really thinking I walked around the pond and climbed up to the flat ledge where the water hit the rocks. With all of my clothes on I sat down with the water hitting my shoulders and my back. I sat up straight and closed my eyes, trying to clear my mind.
But I couldn’t.
The sight of Xander sinking to his knees popped into my mind.
