Marcus
Daisy seemed pretty blue during our ride to the Broadway. I've checked previously on my phone our tickets that I got quickly from Vilma. To ease her mind I handed her my phone.
- Please check to which seats we got. - I said and she shrugged opening my phone effortlessly which made me wonder, How does she know the pin code? Suddenly Daisy's eyes started to sparkle with excitement.
- Wow! I've wanted to see this play for a long time! I never would've guessed that Mr. Kane likes musicals! - Musicals?
- There are some that's enjoyable. I heard this one is pretty famous nowadays.
- It is! I've tried to get a ticket for weeks but they are either fully booked or the price is astronomical! - I've raised an eyebrow and at the red light turned to Daisy.
- Do I hear a little complain about your paycheck Miss Asano? - her eyes widened and she started to fidget her hands all around and stutter.
- No no not at aaall! I wasn't complaining! But these tickets are really expensive! You also got us places to the lodge. - I scoffed as it was nothing, and since they were free that was true. It's a nice feeling to make her happy. Wait a damn minute! What am I thinking?
- I hope you'll enjoy it as much as you wanted to see this play.
- I definitely will! Thanks a lot Mr. Kane!
- I told you, call me Marcus. We are a couple aren't we? Which couple calls each other on their surname? - she grinned.
- Actually that's pretty common in Japan! So I have my excuse! Kane-kun! - I grabbed her face in my hand gently and said it slowly.
- Marcus. - her eyes smiled as she repeated obediently.
- Marcus. - I've nodded.
- Good girl. - to this phrase I saw Daisy getting red and she even got goosebumps. I couldn't hold my laughter back while I parked the car.
- Stop teasing me! Or I'll pay it back! - Daisy said pouting and crossed her arms in front of her chest. I've parked the car and went to open her door. Once she was out I asked.
- Should I consider this as a challenge? - she looked at me with the sweetest smile I've ever seen and locked her arm with mine resting her head on my shoulder.
- Two can play this game, Marcus. - my name sounded good on her lips and I loved this teasing challenge we just set up. I was determined that she'll loose as I knew from the beginning that she found me attractive. Daisy was beautiful and kind, and cute, and mysterious, but nothing else. I'll definitely win this.
- Let's make it more interesting with a bet.
- I'm all ears. - her eyes sparkled with determination.
- Looser grants a wish to the winner? - I've asked, Daisy released my arm and extended her hand toward me for a handshake.
- I'm in! - I've grinned and instead of shaking her hand I've held it gently and kissed the back of it as a gentleman. When I looked up, Daisy was blushing already. This is going to be a piece of cake!
Daisy
I had to admit that Marcus looked extremely good, he smelled nice and his overwhelming aura that always lingered around him made him really hard to refuse. But I had a few trick up in my sleeve. On contrary of him, I knew everything about Marcus, while he had little to no knowledge of me. This is going to be a piece of cake! We walked in with arms locked to the hall. After taking our seats the play shortly started and I had to bite my tongue not to laugh at Marcus's expression when he saw the actresses and heard the music. He definitely didn't choose this play and has no idea what is going on! Oh my Goddess! I've never seen him this flustered! I wish I had a camera! Slowly my attention was drawn back to the play. When the actress who portrayed Katherine Howard sang almost crying on the stage I felt my tears falling. Suddenly a handkerchief appeared next to my face and Marcus, keeping his eyes on the stage, handed it to me. I took it and wiped my tears. When she show ended, we joined the standing ovation and I skipped out of the hall fully energized by the songs and the whole story. One of the actresses walked to us, exactly the one whose performance made me tear up.
- Sweetheart! So you came! - she gave to kisses to Marcus and I got shocked. I felt like a teenager meeting her idol!
- It was an excellent performance Vilma, my Babybee even cried at the end, am I right? - Marcus asked turning to me. Babybee... I'll have to get used to this ridiculous nickname.
- You are absolutely right HONEY! - I saw Marcus getting flustered and the woman he called Vilma noticed it as well. She started laughing and came to hug me.
- I'm so glad to meet you darling! It always makes me happy to make people feel the play!
- You were absolutely amazing! - I said and she hugged me again while she whispered into my ears.
- You are putting on quiet a show as well! Good job girl! - she pulled away and winked at me.
- I'm sorry but I gotta go to prepare for the next show. I'm happy that we could meet! I hope to see you around soon Darling, Sweetheart! - Marcus nodded and I waved goodbye to Vilma. Marcus leaned closer and he asked in a low voice.
- What did she say to you? - I smiled and leaned closer to Marcus but instead of telling him the truth I decided to play wild and gave a peck on his freshly shaved cheeks.
- That's none of your business, Honey! - he chuckled and shook his head holding me by my waist and pulling me closer to him.
- Is this how you are planning to play, Babybee? - I swallowed and looked straight into his eyes.
- You can give it up if you are afraid of some demur, Honey! - Marcus laughed and his eyes looked like two diamonds. There was a dangerous grin on his face and I had the feeling that I might caught myself into bigger trouble than before, but therr was no turning back. Suddenly, Marcus kissed my cheek close to my ear and whispered, really low, making sure, that I'm the only one who hears it.
- By the end of this little game, you'll beg me to let you give up. - I've grabbed his tie and pulled him closer.
- Or you'll beg me to never give it up! - and I kissed his neck leaving him there and heading back to the car.
