After they reached outside the parking area of the restaurant, Elijah dematerialized with Ally. And this time he gave her a clear and fair warning before doing so. Ally clenched her eyes shut in an attempt to block out the dizziness and for most of the part, it did work.
She was tempted to run. God knew how much appealing and tempting the idea of ditching Elijah and running away was forcing Ally to drop every pretense of pleasantries. But the damn reasonable part of her mind was more dominant in her than the rebellious part. If she had tried to run, she knew Elijah would have caught her. If his super juju dematerializing powers were anything to go by, she would not even have been able to cross the threshold of the restaurant.
